So far on this journey you had passed several shops, resturants and even a mini golf place. Where on earth was he taking you? Currently you were driving on a side road near a park, the place was like something out of a book, flowers of all different colours and shapes were scattered absolutely everywhere and trees reached high up into the sky towering over everything else. Summer was just beginning and it had gotten gradually warmer throughout the day, it was incredibly hot in the car right now and you were sligtly uncomfortable. You took off your sweater to reveal a simple white crop top that had a mostly exposed back with the straps crossing it, tying together at your neck. It was basic yet elegant but most importantly it was cool.
"Hey spence can we put the ac on, it's kinda warm" you asked
"No need we're almost there, and dont worry I'll buy you an ice cream to cool you down" he grinned back at you
You watched as the car pulled up to an almost full parking lot, securing a space over in the shade. From what you could see there wasn't anything that looked particularly interesting, making you question why exactly he had brought you here. Spencer caught you looking confused and chuckled.
"Don't worry y/n this isn't it, follow me"
Slightly relieved you followed him to where a few other groups were walking. Through the trees you could hear the faint sound of music getting louder as you walked further towards the source. In the distance you could see flashes of bright reds, blues, yellows and pretty much every other colour under the sun. Everything appeared to be moving, swirling around, flashing in synchronised intervals. Shrieks and squeals pierced the air, not out of fear but of excitement and adrenaline. He had brought you to a fair. You smiled to yourself, the sugary sweet smell of popcorn and cotton candy wafting towards you as you were now within walking distance to the entrance. Upclose you could see a variety of rides and booths, some tall, some twisty and some whirling. Your senses were on overdrive, flooded with excitement like a little kid you couldn't help but bounce around a little.
Grabbing your hand and squeezing it gently Spencer, who was just as excited as you asked
"You ready?"
looking back at him you nodded and both speeded goofily into the cluster of dazzling lights.

The sun had shifted lower in the sky as time and multiple dizzying rides had passed. Even though the air had cooled down Spencer kept his word and was buying you an icecream which made for another painfully long time at looking at a menuboard. You had finally decided on mint choc chip in a waffle cone, spencer choosing a strawberries and cream one. Handing you your cone he looked at you with wide eyes
"Did you know that in a survey conducted by the IDFA deemed mint choc chip the US' 4th favourite ice cream flavour" he babbled.
"Why you're just a living encyclopedia aren't you?" you joked "Hey the sun's about to set, what do you say to ride on the ferris wheel?"
"You're on, last one there has to buy the takeout tonight "
Making a dash for the line, almost dropping your icecream you both ended up crashing into each other giggling as you did so.
"I guess we're going halves on the bill then" he chuckled, breathless from running
"Thats a ok with me Dr"
"You know I like it when you call me that y/n"
You stood there taken aback for split second before being ushered onto the ride by the attendant, scooting over into the seat close to spencer. Your bodies were pressed together making you tense a little as the ride slowly went into motion.
"Relax y/n, you know you're safe with me"
Hearing those words made you ease slightly allowing yourself to gaze in awe at the curling clouds drifting through the brilliant mix of pinks, purples and oranges currently painted across the sky, which was seemingly melting into itself. The sounds of the fair below grew faint as you watched the sun sink lower in the distance casting a peachy glow over your face. Finishing your ice cream you could feel eyes on you making you blush ever so slightly, Spencer had been watching as you had marvelled at the view before you. Turning your head you locked eyes with his, an unspoken intensity growing between you, finding yourselves unable to utter a single word. Lowering your gaze breaking the stare you felt spencers fingers lightly tilt your chin back upwards, his touch lingering as he trailed them along your cheek to sweep a stray strand of hair behind your ear. His other hand closing around your waist pulling you in, the action felt unsure at first but it now was confident, certain. You leant in even closer, your faces tilting allowing your lips to graze against eachother softly before continuing with deeper, more passionate movements. Running your hand through his hair, you could smell his cologne and feel the warmth of his skin pressed to yours, completely ignoring the fact that the ride was now in motion again and you were making your descent. Spencer pulled away, causing you to sigh exasperatedly as you wanted nothing more than for him to return his hands to your body and finish what you had started.
"How does takeout sound right about now?" spencer smirked devilishly as he knew exactly what sounded good to you right now.
"You're evil you know" you joked defeatedly
"I know, and I can be a lot worse if you'd like me to be" He licked his lips and looked you up and down before repeating "a LOT worse".
