sneaking out (part 2)

a little while later Midas and drift pulled up to his house.
"Thanks bro see ya tomorrow" Midas said sliding Skye off of his back. " No problem I will see you two tomorrow " he said skating off. Skye was in awe at the sight of his house.

"Your house is very big midas" she commented as he kicked his board into his hand. "Eh it's big but I'm not happy here you are the only reason I sneak out is to get free from this hell hole at least for a hour or so" he said holding her hand and helping her cross the yard to his window.

He grabbed a latter and positioned it to his window which was still open. " you go up first and wait for me there" he said lifting her up onto the latter. She climbed up into the room and say on the end of his bed. He climbed in after her and kicked down the latter.

She was starting at the posters and action figures that were in a shelf and the only thing separating them was a glass door. "Stay here in going to grab something you hungary?" He asked walking over to his bedroom door. " No thanks" she said smiling he couldn't help but smile back.

Skye looked around some more and found a small desk. It had many notes on it and multiple pictures. A specific picture caught her eye. It had Midas and a girl at the beach.
They looked pretty similar. Both had pale skin but the girls was slightly more colored and she had black hair like his and it was braided into large braids.

They both had tattoos and the girl had a little more than him. They both had golden hands but it looked like the girl was trying to hide them. They both had an arm wrapped around each other and the girl was holding the camera
. They both made quirky faces and they looked really happy together.

Under the picture was a note. The more had pretty hand writing and it was very short.
It read

Dear midas

I'm sorry I'm not coming home sooner but something came up and I won't be able to visit for the next two to three weeks. I will explain it all when I get back home to you.
I love and miss you lots big brother don't forget me.

Skye smiled at the note and placed it back down onto the desk. Then Midas came in. "Whatcha doin?" He asked walking over holding a little folded pile of clothes.
"I was just looking at the pictures on here their very cute" she said glancing at the pictures once more.

"Yeah well here I can talk about it when you come back" he said handing her the pile of folded clothes. She thanked him and went into the bathroom.

She threw her original clothes away and put on the clothes that have been given to her. She looked in the mirror and put Ollie on her head.

"Ollie ollie!"

" I know I like it too" she said smiling. She came back out and Midas smiled. "So you like it?" She asked twirling " yeah it looks great" he chuckled inviting her over to sit with him. "So...tattoos before 21?" She said sitting next to him .

"Yeah my parents paid for it Every one in school likes it" he sighed holding the picture she had found. " How old are you? " Skye asked

"I'm 15 what about you?" He asked back " 13,still young" she shrugged smiling. "Oh and I guess I'm an old man?" He teased " no I'm just saying I'm still pretty young for running away from my home" she giggled.

"Is that your little sister?" She asked pointing at the picture . "Yeah we were born two years apart but once she came around things got a lot harder for me" he said laying back onto the bed. "I bet" she commented "Yeah little siblings steal all the love" he giggled

"not all the time" she sighed laying back with him staring up at the picture. "do you have any siblings?" He asked
"Yes,I have an older sister she was the only one that comforted me when my parents lashed out but she went out for a party tonight and I just couldn't take it anymore so I solved my own problem" she sighed
