Midas x skye

party foul part 2

Skye woke up in her bed confused and had a big headache.
She sat up and couldn't remember anything. She dressed in her usual atire and brushed her hair. Her legs were still sore and so she decided to wake Midas up.
"Midas wake up" she whispered sitting by him. He woke up slowly and lifted himself up with one of his arms. He looked at her tiredly and wrapped his available arm around her torso and laye d back down bringing her with him.
"Midas you've gotta wake up we are needed back at the agency" she giggled trying to push his arm away.
"But I don't wanna" he groaned
" But you have to my big baby" she giggled kissing his forehead.
He finally decided to let go and get up. Skye took his hand and helped him stand up. He wrapped his arms around her torso and he buried his face in her hair.
"Why do we have to be there so early?" He asked still tired.
"Its not early Midas come on you must have stayed up too late last night" she giggled holding his hand and pulling him out of the room. "No I just had bad dreams and I couldn't sleep" he chuckled following her down the stairs.
"Awe my poor baby come on let's go" Skye said in a baby voice teasing him

Midas took some time to fully wake up and they drove back to the agency. Skye and Midas were greeted by Tina first. "Hey guys your back" Tina said hugging skye. "Yeah well we have a lot to do today" Midas sighed waking to his office.
"So what happened?" Tina asked oddly excited
" Honestly I can't remember " Skye said smiling
"What how can you not remember?" Tina asked again as they started walking side by side.
She shrugged and entered her room. She seen meowcles playing with yarn. "Hey meowcles" Skye greeted placing Ollie on her desk. " Hey Skye did you sleep well last night? " he asked hugging her. "Yeah but I've gotta get to work now so you don't have to guard my room anymore" she said smiling and he left.

It's been about 3 hours and Skye couldn't focus on anything. Her mind was all over the place.

"Ollie ollie!"

"Sorry Ollie I just can't focus I don't know what to think about" skye sighed laying her head on her desk. Then something crossed her mind. It was about the night before. She was worried.
Did she think she was What she thought she was?
She shook the thought away and just doodled in a spare piece of paper.

This went on for days.
The days turned into weeks.
And the weeks finally turned into a month.
Skye was having a hard time focusing on anything she had became sick and was very tired most of the time Midas would find her asleep on her desk. Midas became worried.

It was morning and Skye was throwing up as she has been doing for the past month. "Skye are you sure you don't need a doctor?" Midas asked
"No I just...(sigh) I don't know what to do anymore" she whimpered returning to the bed . "Do you need ollie?" He asked trying to make her smile but she turned him away. Midas was really concerned now she usually never pushed Ollie away like that something was definitely wrong.

He thought maybe getting Tina she would be able to talk more in case it was any lady stuff. He walked into tinas room.
"Tina it's skye" he sighed
"Again?" She asked sympathetically
He nodded and she walked into midas' room To see her in the bathroom again. "Skye what's wrong?" She asked sitting on her knees.

"I don't know Tina this has been going on for a month and I event he my period yet and I'm really worried" she sobbed Tina grabbed her hand and Skye rested her head on tinas shoulder. "Well it's ok we're going to find out what's wrong do you want to go to the medical unit?" She asked  " I don't know maybe we should but in case anything comes up can you help keep it a secret? " Skye whispered
"What could possibly come up? Your going to be fine skye" Tina said helping her stand. She held onto tinas arm and they both walked out of the agency and drove the boat to the musical unit greeting remedy.
"Hey remedy can you help us out Skye isn't feeling well" Tina told her "Yeah just sit down and tell me what has been happening" remedy said smiling
Skye sat down on the bed and explained.
"Well I haven't been able to focus on anything lately and I've just been scatterminded and I've been really sick in the mornings and I have also been really tired" she explained
"Well then let's just get a blood test first and if nothing comes up then we can try something else" remedy said drawing blood from skyes wrist and placing a small strap of medical tape over it.
" How long are we going to have to wait? " Tina asked
"About ten minutes not long" she shrugged
They waited and the results came up. "Well Skye theirs nothing wrong so why don't you try this,tina could help you if you don't know how to work it" remedy said handing her a box.
"Why would I have to help her?" Tina asked
" Because you've done it before " she responded
Tina then realized what was in the box. Tina and Skye then walked to the bathroom. "Its easy just follow the directions and it will work" Tina said as Skye entered the bathroom . Tina waited outside for a while.

*time skip about 30 minutes later

"Tina! I need you" skye called from the bathroom. Tina sighed heavily and went inside to see Skye shaking and crying. "Skye-" Tina was cut off by Skye running into her clinging onto her torso. "Tina I'm scared" she whispered . Tina looked at the box and seen it was closed. She opened the box to find a pregnancy test.
It was positive.
Tina sighed and continued to hug skye. "Its ok we can get through this" Tina told her.
" but what about Midas? What is he going to say? " Skye whimpered "he will be happy ok if you want see can get an abortion" Tina suggested .
"No I would never forgive myself if I did that to my baby" she sighed.
"Can you keep it a secret until it's noticeable?" Skye asked looking up at her . "Yes just between you and me" Tina said smiling. Skye smiled softly "your the best bestie I could have" she said smiling and threw the box and test away.
"So what was it?" Remedy asked as they exited the bathroom . "It was p-o-s-i-t-i-v-e" Tina spelled in case anyone else from the agency was there. "Well congrats I guess I will be seeing you soon" remedy smiled ruffling Skyes hair making her giggle.

*time skip

Skye and Tina returned to the agency. Midas was at the docks and waiting for them to return. "What took so long?" He asked hugging skye tightly. "It wasn't anything big they just ran a blood test and she is perfectly fine" Tina lied.
Tina went into the agency and Midas followed her with his hand in skyes.
She spent most of the day with him and enjoying their time together.

Three months passed
And just as expected the pregnancy belly became more noticeable. Skye usually stayed in either hers or Midas room most of the time. She tried her best not to make it obvious.
Tina helped keep her company and helped her while Midas was working.

One night Skye decided to go and get something to eat. She snuck out of midas' room and into the kitchen. She opened the cabinets to find some muffins. She took one and turned around finding peely behind her. She was wearing one of her own shirt so it was impossible not to notice. "Hey Skye what are you doing up so late?" Peely asked

" What are you doing up so late? " she asked back. Peely looked at her and his mouth dropped. "Please don't tell anyone" she whispered . "But how could anyone not notice that?!" Peely whispered loudly. " I don't know but I don't want Midas to know just yet" she whispered "what?! How does he not know?!" He asked again. " Because I'm usually wearing his shirts which are we way bigger on me" Skye said not bothering to whisper anymore.

"Who else knows?" Peely sighed " only Tina and you now" she responded. "What are we going to do once it arrives?" Peely asked. "I d-dont know ok" she stammered. Peely hugged her softly. "Its going to be ok I will help" he told her. "Thank you peely" she giggled.

She went back to bed while finishing the muffin.
She crawled into the bed and slipping back into his grasp.
"Skye what are you doing" he whispered
"N-nothing it's ok I'm fine" she stammered.

"Ok something is definitely wrong Skye what is it?" He asked sitting up. " nothing just go back to sleep" she told him curling up in the blanket. "Are you sure?" He asked again.
" yes everything is fine ok there's nothing wrong" she sighed.

"That was close" she thought cuddling with against him.

*time skip

"Skye wake up" he said shaking her arm. "What do you want?" She asked burying her face in the pillow . "I want to know why you lied to me" he sighed sitting next to her. "What?" She asked looking over at him.

" you know what" he responded
Skye was lost for words. She sat up in the bed and looked down at the floor. "I-im sorry midas" she stammered
"Now why would you try and keep something like this from me?" He asked softly hugging her . "I thought you would get mad" she sighed.

"No sweetie why would I ever get mad?" He asked kissing her cheek. " I don't know I guess I was just caught up in my feelings " she said leaning against him. "Well it's ok I was actually quite happy to find out were having a little one" he chuckled Skye looked up t him and smiled

. "Well I actually get to find out what it's going to be today so what are you hoping for?" She asked
" a little girl just like her mom" Midas smiled
"I'm hoping for a little boy to follow in his father's footsteps" Skye giggled
