new changes more opportunities

A few weeks after the flood the water had died down a bit and the crew were rescued by another team of ghost agents.
The ghost base was rebuilt and a small bit if he map was showing.

Skye was in her newly made room still devastated on her loss of both Midas and her daughter she thought maybe she could catch up with a few people around the fortilla.
She sat up in her bed and looked one last time at the necklace before putting it back on and walking out of the room.
She came across Tina.

"Hey Skye doing any better?" Tina asked smiling softly.
"Yeah I'm just heading out to explore a bit" Skye shrugged
"Ok well if you need anything you know where to find me" Tina said walking to her room.
Skye made it out of the fortilla thankfully not coming across anyone else.

She hopped into a boat and drove off.
She spotted catty corners.
"That's still intact?" Skye thought driving towards it.
She seen it was abandoned.
she got out of the boat and walked around. She seen it was torn up pretty bad and she heard a small rustle from inside the small trailer.

she peeked her head inside and seen a small amount of movement from under the small bed.
She crouched down and seen a small creature.
"Hey what are you?" Skye asked softly
It only backed away. She reached for it and it scratched the back if her hand making it drip with blood.

"Oh,ow Jezee I'm sorry" Skye said looking at the back of her hand.
It meowed softly and Skye was just plain out confused.
She reached for it again and it allowed her to lift it out from under the bed.

She seen it was a small kitten.
"Oh my are you ok? I'm sorry if I frightened you" she said standing up and holding it in her arms.
"You look a lot like meowcles maybe I can take you to him" Skye sighed walking back to the fortilla.
"Maybe his mother Got washed away" Skye thought

*time skip

She pulled up to the fortilla and was greeted by ocean.
"Skye? What the hell are you doing with a cat?!" she asked helping her out of the boat.
"I think he was abandoned or he was washed away from his mother" Skye said holding the small cat in her arms.
"Well you might want to show meowcles he lookes a lot like him" she sighed

"Yeah I will where is he?" Skye asked
"He went out on his shark he will be back soon" ocean said looking around.
"Oh ok well when he comes back let me know" Skye said smiling faintly. "Ok-oh have you seen where Brutus and Maya went?" Ocean asked

"No I haven't but they'll turn up soon" Skye said going up the stairs. Skye went her room and let the small kitten sit on her bed while she threw on a hoodie Midas used to wear. "Oh Midas I miss you" she whispered to herself burying her face into the collar.

She sat on her knees in front of the kitten and pulled out a small medkit from under her bed. She seen a small scratch across his cheek and put a small bandaid on it and wrapped her scared hand with a small bandage. She sat next to the kitten and let him crawl onto her chest.

He slipped his head under the oversized hoodie and popped it back up at the collar. Skye pulled the hoodie over her head and the small kitten layed his head down on her collar bone.
"What if I named you...kit? Would you like that?" She asked petting his head.

It purred and Skye smiled cuddling the small kitten in her arms making sure he felt safe just like Midas would do her.

Meowcles arrived.
"Hey ocean,Skye back?" HS asked hopping off the shark.
"Yeah she's in her room and she needs to discuss something with you" ocean told him.
He thanked her silently and he headed ho the stairs and knocked on the door.

"Come in!" A faint voice from behind the door says.
"Hey Skye you said you needed me" he said smiling
"Yeah actually" she said sitting herself up a bit. Meowcles seen the big bump on her chest and gave her a confused look.
"Ok so you remember how you and linx were together and stuff?" She asked

"Yeah why?" he asked
"Well I don't think she ever told you about this" Skye said as kit perked his head up from the bottom of her hoodie.
He was in shock. His mouth was hanging open and he looked at the little kitten.

"This is mine?" He asked picking it up.
"Well I'm guessing" Skye shrugged
Meowcles smiled and hugged him tightly.
"Thank you for finding him Skye it really means slot" he said hugging her as kit climbed onto her shoulders.

"You want to go and tell everyone? You know before any drama happens?" She asked smiling softly.
He did just that.
She looked at the kitten who was now resting on her lap. She began to stroke its soft fur making it smile and sit up. He placed his paws on her chest and nuzzled her cheek purring happily.

It made her smile a giggle softly as Tina leaned on her door frame crossing her arms smiling.
"So a miracle has happened" she smirked
"What?" Skye asked smiling still

"You finally laughed after all this time" Tina said raffling her hair.
Skye pushed her hand away smiling and she went back to petting the small kitten.

"Have you got the report from fade yet?" She asked
"Yeah he said theirs still no sign of either of them" Tina sighed
"Well we will find them eventually, hey do you want to go see the authority? I heard its just like the agency just a new design and color" Skye asked

"Yeah we can search there its the only place she has to be" Tina added.
Skye left kit with ocean and Tina drove the boat to the authority.
"This is the only place she has to be" Skye mumbled to herself.
They got out and decided to just walk in since the henchmen weren't messing with either of them.

She seen tech at the main desk. "What?! Tech?!" Tina said surprised
"Skye!? Tina?!" Teach exclaimed happily
"How could you?!" Skye asked angered
"what I thought you all died! I didn't have any other choice" he whined

"You betrayed ghost" skye said crossing her arms.
"Your still as whiney as I remember aren't you?" Tech teased
"Well anyways have you seen marigold around?" Skye asked slapping his hand away annoyed.
"Who? Jules? She's in her office top floor" tech said returning to his computer.

Skye looked at Tina confused and they both bolted up the stairs. They found marigolds office and Skye took a deep breath calming herself. "Skye relax you'll be fine" Tina smiled placing a hand on her shoulder smiling faintly

Skye knocked on the door and she heard rustling in the room. "Yeah?" A voice from inside asked
"Can I come in?" Skye asked
"Are you my mom and dad? No your not so go away" she responded

"Well actually..." Skyes voice trailed off as she opened the door peeking in seeing marigold sitting at her desk.
"What?...wait wait wait wait...mom?" She asked smiling
