shes found but still lost

"Marigold?" Skye responded fully opening the door.
"But how?" Tina asked
"Tina? You too?" Jules asked getting up from her seat.

"Marigold its actually you" Skye cried out and they both just totally lost it. Jules hurried from behind her desk knocking a few papers down off if it and they ran into eachother hugging tightly.
"I thought I lost you forever" Jules whimpered

"Me too mari me too" Skye cried into her shoulder. "Tina your here too" Jules said hugging her tightly. "Yeah I'm here Mari," she said smiling hugging her back.
"I thought only Brutus and Maya survived" Jules told Skye
"What? Why would you think that? Are they here?" Skye asked. Looking around.

"Yeah their in their offices they said you and the rest of you guys had died" Jules said
"Yeah well we didn't" Skye said smiling
"so why do you want to see Brutus and Maya so badly? Are they still in ghost?" Jules asked

"Well yes and they have been gone all week and I've been wondering where they have been" Tina said frowning
"Well they have been here ever since the flood" Jules told them
Skye looked at Tina and frowned.

"Can we go see them?" She asked
"Yeah sure come with me" Jules said guiding them outside the room and towards Mayas and Brutus' room.

They finally made it and Skye walked in with her arms crossed.
"Why hello Skye" Brutus greeted smirking under his shadow mask.
"Brutus..Maya.." She said looking at them as they stood in front of her.

"Skye? What are you doing here?" Maya asked
"Well I can ask the same question" Skye said
"Skye look"
"Don't look me I put my full trust into you and this is what you do to me?! What the fuck guys?!" Skye cut Brutus off and her voice a little louder.

"Well Skye we need to do something new for once" Maya added
"New?! Don't talk to me about new we have a whole new life around here everything is new you can't just betray us like this!" Skye said raising her voice
"Well what would Midas think?" Maya asked trying to calm her down.

"Midas?! Don't you dare mention his name again he wouldn't like this either" Skye told her
" but what if I told you Midas joined shadow" Brutus asked crossing his arms.

"Well he didn't or he would've told me" Skye said still angery
"But the thing is he didn't tell you he joined a few days before the flood I thought you would've noticed" Maya sighed
"No he wouldn't have he wouldn't have betrayed something his father left him in charge of he wouldn't betray his own family" Skye said pulling out a pistol.

"He would never,but he did" Maya told her
"No no he didn't now stop talking about him" Skye said with a warning tone in her voice
"But Skye midas-"

"I said STOP!! He's gone and he's never coming back and I know now that I will never see him again a-and you need to stop teasing me with it everyday because I know you don't have to remind me!" Skye said pointing the pistol at her.
"Skye calm down" Brutus said trying to stop her.
"Give me one good reason why I should" Skye said putting her finger in the trigger.

"Skye we found him". Maya told her
" lies " Skye responded
"No seriously we found him,we found midas he's doing fine" Brutus said pushing skyes arm down trying to lead the pistol away.

"LIAR!" She yelled
"No Skye please calm down" Brutus said but Skye pushed him away.
"Your lies can't get through to me" Skye said pulling out a second pistol.
"No Skye its the truth" Maya said trying to stop her from shooting anyone

"And how can I believe that?" She asked
"Because I know where he is" she responded
"No you don't you lie too much for your own good and your going to get your payments" Skye said putting her finger on the trigger and shooting her cold blood. She fell to the floor and blood splattered onto skyes cheek and she shut her eyes tightly.
"Skye" Brutus started

"No! I have been lied to too much, you all think you can just mention something about Midas and expect me to believe it? No I've seen what happened to him the entire agency exploded and I couldn't find him after anything so I think I know a thing or two about death" Skye said angrily

"Skye calm down please" Tina said finally coming inside the room. She pointed the gun down and sighed heavily. She was on the verge of tears. No-one has seen her like this. She had never shot anyone out of anger or hatred. She had never been so angry.
"You Got lucky Brutus" Skye sighed dropping both pistols and walking out with Tina standing there shocked.

Jules wasn't to surprised bit she knew she wouldn't do anything like she had just done.
"Come on lets go" Skye sighed walking back to the boat with jules and Tina following her.

*time skip

They had finally arrived at the fortilla.
"Why are we here?" Jules asked
"This is where the ghost base is where we were rescued" Tina added

Jules looked at it in awe and they pulled up to the main building.
"Come on we've got to see the others" Skye said smiling faintly
"Skye what the?!" Ocean exclaimed seeing Jules

"Ocean?" Jules asked realizing her "Jules" ocean said crossing her arms."Jules?" Skye asked looking over at her.
"Yeah everyone calls me that" Jules shrugged "What do you think your doing here?" Ocean asked

"Well I just reunited with my family I lost years ago so I'd watch your tone if I were you" Jules replied
"What? Guys stop ok I just came back to get the others to see her after all these years" Skye sighed

"Marigold?" Fade asked turning the corner seeing her.
"Fade? You too?" Jules said confused
She couldn't help but smile and fade ran over to her and hugged her tightly and miles Hugged him back.

"Why didn't you ever tell me you were here?" Fade asked pulling away from the hug his hands still holding her waist.
"Because you know how chaos is" she giggled

"Well you also know how I am so no funny business ill be keeping an eye on you" ocean told her walking away.
"Guys I have missed you so much" Jules sighed smiling

"We have too, lets go meet up with the rest of the crew" Skye said leading her to the rest of them as fade and Tina followed close behind.

*time skip

It was now night and Skye was still with Jules in her room.
She was laying down in her bed with Jules resting on her chest as she played with the ends of her braided hair.
"Why did you keep the braids?" Skye asked softly now calmer that she was before.

"I likes the style still lose and free but isn't in your face all the time while your working" Jules shrugged
"You look good with them" Skye smiled
"Thank you, also one more thing" Jules added
"What is it?"

"What happened to dad? Why did he leave?" She asked quietly.
Skye froze.
She still wasn't fully over Midas' loss.
"Well jules,h-he didn't leave, he...well" she looked down and jules look up at her with curiosity.
"I never found him after the flood" Skye sighed with the tears returning glossing her eyes.
She tried to blink them away but it was no use.
Jules sat up and hugged her tightly.
"I'm sorry mom" she whispered and Skye hugged her tightly
"Its ok things happen" Skye told her trying not to make her sad.

She went back to the authority and Skye layed there in her bed staring up at the ceiling blankly.
One question ran through her mind.
One she couldn't find the answer to unless she had knew.
One that she felt like would haunt her until the answer was found at that very moment.

Was Maya really lieing?
