Mila looked around as her father led her inside. It was massive, spacious and modern. The colours blended well together and made the building look lively. Mila heard music coming from the entrance of the building as they walked further inside. She looked at the source of the music, it looked like a club. Being the mischievous girl she was she knew she had to explore it.There were even bodyguards standing outside the club, they wore big black suits and the men all looked muscular.Everyone stared at Mila in shock. They saw their ruthless boss, taking a girl somewhere. Riccardo looked like he was expressionless to most people, but deep inside he was doing a cringy happy dance, celebrating his daughters' return.
Riccardo gave one cold look to anyone who looked at him or his daughter, to which they immediately cowered away, hoping they would be safe from the human devil. Everyone in the building knew what he was capable of. One wrong move and their life would fall apart in the hands of one of the cruelest people on Earth.
Riccardo held Mila's hand and walked into the silver, lustre elevator with her. Mila looked around the whole floor, there it looked like a luxurious hotel. The first floor had a reception and a club, from the looks of it but there was probably much more to explore. Her father pushed a gold card with the letter 'R' in the slot in the elevator. It made odd beeping noises and started going up rapidly.
"Here sweetheart, this is your special card to get you everywhere in the building, there is a swimming pool, gym, game rooms, theatres and many other things. Although, all of these things are inside our house as well. This card is yours, so don't give it to anyone and keep it safe. I'm sure you could keep a card safe. Right?" Riccardo asked, playfully teasing his amused daughter as he handed Mila a beautiful gold card almost identical to her fathers, except with the letter 'M'.
"I'm not sure dad. Can I?" Mila asked her dad while she playfully raised an eyebrow. Riccardo rolled his eyes at his daughters' childish antics. These were the moments where he wanted to take a mental screenshot and keep it forever, he came out of his lala land, as soon as the elevator doors opened and went back to his emotionless face as he saw his men staring.
Mila noticed men in black suits, they were all big and bulky and looked like they could knock her out in a few punches. But, she was practically a karate professional; she went to two whole classes. Mila knew teakwood, jujitsu, karate and many more dangerous words. All jokes aside, she still knew self defence basics but she could definitely take someone twice her size down. Mila preffered to use verbal insults instead of being physical, but if it ever came down to that she would definitely break a nose.
When they entered their apartment Mila once again gazed in awe. It was beautiful, the sunlight reflected on the mirror and it passed through the glass tables. The windows were tinted, so nobody could see what was happening inside but the people inside could see everything outside. The house was sleek and overall modern.
Riccardo guided his star struck daughter to her room. Mila walked down the narrow hallway.
He opened the door as Mila instantly fell in love. It was a cozy dark orange bedroom with ottomans, a bookshelf, beanbags, a desk, mirrors, a bathroom and everything she has ever wanted. It even had fake plants hanging around in all places of the room. Mila thought they must have used pinterest as an inspiration. It was the perfect place to build a fort with Luca, they had always talked about having many midnight feasts, watching netflix and having mini parties when all of the other brothers sleep, because as Luca said "most of the brothers are killjoys, especially Alessandro and Vincent. Plus,we definitely wouldn't want to get on their bad side, they could basically bring hell to Earth." She was anxious and excited to see all of her brothers, that she was sweating just by thinking of it.
