Chapter 5

Nagising ako mula sa isang panaginip, hindi ko man lang napansin na nakatulugan ko na yung pag-iyak. Pagkatapos kong mapansin na basa ng luha ang aking mukha at maging ang unan ay nagbalikan lahat ng nangyari sakin.

I've been diagnosed with depression because of that day, sinasaktan ko yung sarili ko na parang wala na itong saysay, I'm also diagnosed with eating disorder dahil sa loob ng dalawang taon ay wala akong matinong kain. Lahat ng kinakain ko ay isinusuka ko lang rin dahil hindi makaya ng sikmura ko yung mga pagkain.

Kahit sila Dad ay nahirapan sa nangyari sa akin, but they can't do anything than to look after me. After she left me I've been miserable, I've been harming myself and the scars on my body is the proof.

My memories with her is what I treasure the most, I may loathe her to no end but I can say that she's my favorite person. Even after she left me like I mean nothing to her, even if I'm thinking of suicidal thoughts I'll just think of her and I'll be calm. At yun ang pinaka ayaw ko sa sarili ko, sobrang rupok ko to the point na kahit siya yung dahilan bakit ako nagkakaganon siya pa rin yung makakapagpakalma sa akin.

I knew her since high school and I've been attracted to her since then, I can tell that she's also interested with me but there is something that's keeping her for pursuing our feelings.

And luckily, we interact with each other for a whole day and one thing lead to another.

~~~Flashback~~~

I was on my fourth year now in high school and I'm still observing her from a far.

Since it's friday it is okay kahit pang-civilian lang ang suot namin. Mahigpit ang dress code dito sa amin so you won't be shocked with what you are going to see. For girls if you're going to use skirts then it should be just an inch above your knees, same with dress and it shouldn't be spaghetti strapped otherwise you need to put a blazer on even if it's so hot. Walang pake ang Council kung mainitan ka as long as susundin mo yung regulations nila.

And as I can see right now she looks cute in her outfit. She's wearing a cute off-shoulder tank top and a skinny jeans. Nasa school grounds kami ngayon since vacant naman namin, siya ay nasa bandang fountain at kami ni Ziera ay nasa bench medyo may kalayuan sa kaniya. Just enough distance for me to check her out.

Nang tumunog yung bell ay excited akong naglakad papuntang TLE room namin sa third floor kung saan ko siya kaklase. Dito ko lang siya napagmamasdan ng matagal dahil halos wala naman akong ibang ginagawa sa subject na to bukod sa titigan siya. Nakikinig lang ako kay Ma'am pag hindi ko na alam yung tinuturo niya since nag-a-advance reading naman ako so it's really not a big deal kahit hindi ako makinig.

Pagkaupo ko sa pwesto ko sa bandang dulo ay nakita ko siyang umupo na rin sa upuan niya sa may unahan ng klase, tumitig pa ako sa kaniya ng ilang minuto bago dumating si Ma'am.

"Good morning class, as I've said last meeting ay magkakaron tayo ng activity by pair at napagdesisyonan ko na ako nalang ang pipili ng mga magiging partner niyo." paliwanag ni ma'am, "I'll call you by pair and you have to come here so that I can tell you what you are going to present."

Nakikinig lang ako habang nagtatawag si Ma'am ng mga magkakapareha hanggang sa mabanggit ang pangalan ko, "Miss Yxella you'll be paired up with Miss Claxinne," I can tell that shock is visible in my face now knowing that she's going to be my partner, "Come here so you'll both know what you're going to do."

Everything went on slow-mo as I watch her walk her way in front, it feels like my world stops moving and it's only the two of us that's here. She walks gracefully and confidently like nothing can stop and bring her down.

Pagkadating ko sa harap ay tahimik lang ako habang nakayuko at pinapanood siya sa peripheral vision ko, "Okay girls ang gagawin niyo ay magpresent ng isang Italian delicacy, you need first to explain it's origin and the feedbacks about it then you'll show us how to make the cuisine that you've pick. You have two weeks to get familiarized with the cuisine and to learn the procedures." nakangiting sabi ni Ma'am. "And also it's up to you on how you're going to present it to us, think of different tactics on how to synchronize with each other. Don't disappoint me, you're both my top students so I'm expecting a good performance from the both of you."

"Yes ma'am we certainly won't disappoint you," she said while nodding her head then smiled a little to me, "Let's talk after class meet me at the school ground by the fountain, I'll wait for you there." then she go back at her seat.

I just smiled and nod at Ma'am Fabian before walking back to my seat at the back.

I waited 'til the bell rings and immediately hop to my feet then excitedly go to my next class looking forward for the end of the day.

I've been so giddy for the rest of the day that the teachers and my classmates and even Ziera noticed that I'm in a good mood only because of talking to her by the end of the day and working with her for two weeks.
