Kambe Daisuke takes Katou Haru to his luxurious and super elegant residence to meet his family. Haru had refused because he was trouble Daisuke with this, even though he had known that upperclassman for a long time, still, Haru was not someone who was just as casual with his rich and arrogant younger one.

Haru himself knows that Daisuke is the kind of kid and tries to solve problems without causing new ones.

Daisuke still forced him to come to his house, introducing him as a friend.

"Are you sure it's okay, Kambe?" Daisuke sighed.

"Can you be quiet for a moment, senpai? I'm the one who inviting you, so there's not much need to protest."

Haru frowned, but his mouth opened again. "But Kambe-"

"Welcome home, young master Daisuke."

Haru could only stare at the Daisuke family's call to the boy.

"Ah. I'm home."

The butler moved his hand before allowing them to enter the mansion.

"This is my senior, Katou Haru."

Haru bowed to greet the Daisuke family who welcomed them.

"Katou Haru, nice to meet you."

They smiled as Haru kindly and politely introduced himself to them.

"Thank you, for making friends with young master Daisuke, and also we're sorry if he troubles you."

"N-no, he actually helped me a lot."

Haru who was a little embarrassed by the honest and straight compliment flushed.

"Please come in. We'll prepare dinner for the two of you."

Daisuke took a step first as Haru followed behind.

"Sorry to bother."

They just smiled back at Haru's politeness. The room that was visible to the guest was spacious and neat, yet elegant. Haru could only feel nervous about being in an unfamiliar room.

Daisuke who sat across from him raised his eyebrows.

"Are you okay, senpai?"

"Eh? Ah..."

Haru looked around, looked at the spacious, neat and elegant room with his innocent eyes.

"I'm just not used to it."

Daisuke sighed but didn't say anything.

Shortly thereafter, a waiter walked in with dinner carried on a push cart. Haru could only be surprised again, when the food that was delivered was Japanese but looked luxurious in their hands. Haru can only feel more and more awkward and confused about this special and special treatment for him.

"Th-thank you."

The butler just smiled. "Please enjoy."

Once in the room there were only the two of them, Haru made his voice.

"You sure brought me here with all this, Kambe?!"

Daisuke, who closed his eyes and prepared to eat dinner, stopped.

"Senpai, how long are you going to protest like that? Aren't you grateful?"

Haru refrained from hitting the boy directly inside his own house. Haru, who gritted his teeth, let out a long sigh.

"Yes, yes, young master Daisuke."

Haru followed Daisuke's movements. The young master only smiled.

"Itadakimasu."

Apart from having dinner with young master Kambe Daisuke, Haru chatted with the young master's grandmother, and also talked about the future. Daisuke who can become anything thanks to his family connections, is now not thinking about anything about the future, in contrast to Haru who already has goals for the future.

"Police officer, very noble dreams."

Daisuke only glanced sharply at Haru who smiled with a red hue.

His innocence and honesty were clearly visible on his face. Although he has been a friend for a long time, perhaps a colleague to be more precise, Haru is a person who clings to justice and does what he thinks is right.

Indeed, not all police recruits seem like him, but still, they will be looking for someone like Katou Haru.

Daisuke won't get tired of seeing Haru's behavior, which strangely manages to catch his eye.

-----------------------------------------------------------

Haru looked up as Daisuke stood not far from him. "Yo, Kambe." Daisuke subconsciously grinned, as Haru greeted him.

"What's the problem this time, Katou?"

Haru just chuckled softly before raising his head. "I'm used to something like this." Haru glanced at Daisuke who was no longer smiling.

"Uphold justice."

Daisuke closed his eyes after hearing the answer. Daisuke sat beside him.

"You can die fast if you continue like that."

"Young master Kambe Daisuke is worried about me, very nice."

Daisuke fell silent, when Haru commented like that. Daisuke was very serious at the time, and he was sure Haru knew it well.

"I won't die until I get to uphold justice, Kambe."

Daisuke glanced at the grinning Haru while looking up at the sky.

"Even if you don't know when you can do it completely?" Haru shrugged.

"It doesn't have to be all of it, because I can't do it all by myself."

Daisuke widened his eyes when Haru glanced at him. His grin widened.

"But it's a different story if I do it with young master Kambe Daisuke."

Those black eyes stared deep into Haru's triumphant grin. Daisuke didn't know what to say, as Haru seemed to believe in him without hesitation like that.

Although the two of them had not known each other for long.

"Katou-"

"Well, I don't think that's possible either. After all, you use money to get things done."

Daisuke saw Haru raise his head again and let out a long sigh.

The two of them actually don't get along and often fights.

One is upholding justice and solving problems in a variety of ways, which is certainly acceptable and does not violate the rules, and one does it with money.

"We really are not one way."

Haru declared it with a grin, either for real or a joke, but it managed to make Daisuke smile again.

"I never thought we were one way around that, Katou Haru."

Even so, Daisuke decided one thing, that he would become a police officer, or a detective, just like Haru's dream.
