News of Katou Haru's critical condition after being found by Kambe Suzue and HEUSC after sending voice messages and a photo of important evidence leading to the case being investigated by Kambe Daisuke, spreads throughout the divisions of the Metropolitan Police Department. Not only did the previous division become Haru's division, but the division that Daisuke entered together with. Worry as well as sadness, was felt in the room, even though Daisuke's important case was progressing rapidly thanks to Haru's sacrifice.

Daisuke, who was outside the room where Haru was being treated and was in a coma due to bleeding out, stared in the blank. Both Suzue and the grandmother, to the gardener at their residence, no longer see the light that had returned when Daisuke was with Haru during school.

Daisuke lost the light that seemed to make him so alive. Once again.

"But you shouldn't underestimate Katou's abilities and passion. He doesn't hesitate, especially when it comes to his best friend, I guess."

Daisuke blinked, looking back at the front. Chosuke just smiled when he saw the change in the expression of the man in black hair. His eyes softened.

"I don't mean that I'm not believe him."

"I know." Daisuke turned to Chosuke who didn't hesitate to say it. "Because I'm sure you already understand very well, that Katou is hard to die."
