Not long after the case handled by Kambe Daisuke, who was quite dangerous and almost killed his senior, Katou Haru, that day they were at the police headquarters, was asked to carry out an important task related to an annual event that is quite popular with many circles.

Namely Halloween.

Kiyomizu Yukihiro as the division head in the division that Haru and Daisuke entered, announced the task after everyone was present.

"Tomorrow, to be more precise at tomorrow night, we're asked to oversee the course of the parade which will be held during Halloween."

Kamei Shinnosuke blinked. "Halloween? Tomorrow night?"

Kiyomizu frowned. "It can't be helped if Kambe-kun can't participate."

Saeki touched his own lips. "Even though it must be very great... if we could all come."

Haru frowned. "It must be an elite event. Same with Suzue-san too."

Daisuke turned to Haru who was grumbling in annoyance. "I'm thinking of inviting you along though, Haru."

Daisuke tilted his head. "Because you're my partner?"

Haru frowned in annoyance. "We're partners as police, you damn young master!"

Daisuke frowned slowly. "So, we're not partners other than that?"

"We're still friends! Agh!!"

Saeki only smiled a little at the sight of Daisuke who was so innocent while Haru was annoyed because he had to face that innocence.

"Whatever! But if I come with you, I feel bad with the others here, have to watch Halloween night without us..."

Daisuke touched his chin in thought. "Let me ask Suzue first about this."

Kiyomizu found Daisuke looking at him before nodding.
