Rise Finale

So! I have not updated this book in a long time, and I had the ability to, but here's the thing! I kinda already started many other books so I didn't have too much time to update! Plus, with these episodes sadly being the finale, I don't think I will be updating this book until the Netflix movie! But anyway, let's get started with the first part!

It begins with everyone retreating back to the lair after learning of Shadow Fiend being The Shredder, and with the most dangerous threat to humanity returning. Splinter begins to wish he had listened to his grandfather's stories about how to defeat Shredder, and Baron Draxum gets an idea!

He then uses a mystic ritual to send the turtles INTO Splinter's mind so they can go across memories and find the secret to stopping Shredder.

Meanwhile, we see that the Foot Recruit is...struggling. Shredder doesn't do anything without the ring and collar, but Foot Recruit is convinced her master is still in there and seeks to free him!

Back with the Turtles, we learn that Yoshi (Splinter) did not just not listen to his grandfather. He flat out rejected him! Calling The Shredder imaginary and that he and his mother wasted time waiting for him to come back so he could be destroyed for good.

The Turtles follow his sad grandfather, but then Splinter's subconscious begins to fight back, and The Turtles can't beat it, so they move to another memory where once again, we learn that Splinter had a distant relationship with his grandfather because of his mother and The Shredder.

So, they move to one final memory, and oh boy. It gets EMOTIONAL.

We learn that Yoshi's mother left her family when Yoshi was a child to defend the world. So Splinter resents The Hamato Clan and the legend of Shredder because that legend and clan took away his mother. That's really sad!

But! We do learn that the warrior who defeated Shredder had a powerful weapon in the Twilight Realm! So, Draxum stops the ritual and takes them to the Twilight Realm, where they rip out the weapon! But then, the weapon turns into a girl wearing Hamato Clan robes.

She's like "WHAT HAVE YOU DONE?!", before passing out and then we cut to The Foot!

The fire turns blue and Shredder's eyes go from green to purple! He rips off the collar and yells out: "I AM FREE!!!"

Shredder speaks!!

The next part shows Shredder already getting down to business, demanding to know where his clan is and what he's going to do. He says that in order to be truly unstoppable, he must destroy the one who defeated him.

KARAI.

Meanwhile, we learn that the lady who passed out is Hamato Karai! So, instead of being Shredder's adopted daughter and a member of the Foot in this show, she is the founder of The Hamato Clan!

She then goes onto explain that Shredder and The Foot were once a peaceful clan, and Shredder was just a kind man named Oroku Saki. But then, one day, evil attacked the village and in order to save everyone, Saki made a deal with an Oni (who looks very similar to Kraang), who gave him the Dark Armor.

But, the armor corrupted him because of the armor having a demonic spirit merged with it. The Shredder corrupted the Foot and destroyed the evil, and then began to destroy all of Japan.

Karai founded The Hamato Clan, and defeated Shredder by sealing herself and him away into The Twilight Realm.

Soooo, that means by releasing Karai, The Turtles literally just doomed all of humanity.

Karai then goes onto explain that the only way to beat Shredder is through the Hamato Ninpo, an ancient art that allows one to connect with past members of The Hamato Clan. Karai promises that she will teach the Turtles, April, and Splinter the art.
