Tina's POV:

School the next day is nerve racking. Mom said I could stay home for a little bit, but I don't want to leave Zeke to face it by himself.

And so, we walk in together, everyone staring at us and at my stomach.

Grace and Madelyn snicker as we walk by, one of them sticking out a foot to trip me.

Zeke catches me before I can hit the linoleum floor, yelling at them in anger.

"What the hell is wrong with y'all? You KNOW she's pregnant, you lip injection ridden freaks!" He barks.

"Hey! It's a free abortion! No charge, I promise!" Grace laughs.

"It's not funny. Haha I'm pregnant, what a joke. I'm keeping the kid, so leave me alone." I reveal, laying down the law with her.

"All bark and no bite. Typical Belcher slut." Madelyn adds when we begin to walk away. I just groan.

"What the fuck did you just say?" Zeke spins around so he's face to face with them.

"Zeke don't. You'll get in trouble again, and I need to stay calm." I pull him back towards me. "Think of the baby."

He sighs angrily. "You're lucky." He growls at them.

"Tina Belcher to the principals office please. Tina Belcher to the principals office." A voice on the loudspeaker drones.

"Oooh!" The students around me tease.

I walk to the office, the principal greeting me with an obviously fake smile.

"Come on in, Miss Belcher."

I sit down in a chair at his desk. He keeps this fake smile on.

"Good morning Principal Dixon." I reply, matching his happy expression.

"I'm sorry if this is an...odd question. But is it true that you've fallen pregnant?" He asks.

Fallen pregnant? I didn't just trip on the sidewalk and get a kid inside me.

"Umm....yes sir." I reply quietly.

"I'd just like you to know there are resources for you. For teen mothers. Support groups and such." He says kindly. He hands me some pamphlets.

"Thank you, Principal Dixon. I'm keeping the baby. My boyfriend is being supportive and so is my family." I grin. At least someone here is nice to me.

"You can go on to your first class. Have a good day, Tina. Let me know if you need to speak with the guidance counselor." He waves me away, and I leave.

"What'd the principal want? Bad girl Tina already getting in trouble." Madelyn thinks she's so clever.

A crowd of students form around us, and Zeke wraps an arm around me.

"C-come on guys." Gene is among the crowd, blushing in embarrassment.

"Shut up, fag!" A large football player shoves Gene. My sisterly instincts kick in, but so do my motherly instincts.
