I'm back from vacation so more stories coming your way! My writers block has been insane lately, but I'll do my best! If you like my writing, maybe check out some of my other stories! They aren't fanfiction, but I think they're okay haha. Enjoy!

I woke up when Darry came into my room before he left for work.

"Get up, Pony." He said softly as he popped his head through the door.

"I don't have anythin' goin' on, Dar. Can't I sleep in?" I whined, rolling over and covering my face with the comforter.

"No. This ain't summer break, it's suspension. You still gotta get up early. Come on, you have chores." Darry said sternly, and I groaned.

"Fine." I grunted, sitting up and rolling out of bed unhappily. I dragged my feet as I exited the room. Soda was already in the truck, and Darry was grabbing his lunch.

"The chore list is on the fridge." He said, kissing the top of my head. "Be good. Bit's gonna come over and check on you from time to time."

"I don't need a babysitter, Dar." I whined, following him outside.

"From your recent actions, you do." He responded snarkily.

"Dick." I muttered under my breath, and went back inside. I walked to the fridge and saw a yellow sticky note. I read it and groaned.

"Be good today! You need to do laundry, clean the bathroom, kitchen, and your bedroom, pick up around the house, sweep, and eat something that isn't cake. Two-Bit will be by to check on you. Love, Darry."

I really didn't want to do all these chores, and I really didn't want a babysitter. I was fifteen, not five, godammit!

I sighed, and figured I should just go ahead and get my chores over with. I headed into my bedroom to grab my dirty laundry, and realized half of it was strewn around the room.

"I guess I'll clean up this shit first." I sighed, bending down to pick up Soda and I's many dirty clothes. Darry had been nagging us to "clean that pigsty" forever, and I guess he did kind of have a point. It smelled like actual dog shit, and I had honestly forgotten what the carpet looked like.

When I was finally finished, I gathered all of the dirty laundry from the house and loaded the washing machine. It was noisy, but it was really good background noise. I wasn't sure if I could listen to music or not while grounded, so the washing machine was breaking my insanity.

Next, I went to clean the bathroom, which was even dirtier than the bedroom. There was opened hair gel bottles laying on the counter, the sink looked yellow instead of white, the floor was dirty, and there was hair clogging the drain in the shower. I groaned and began cleaning. I couldn't believe this is what our bathroom looked like. It would be different if it was just me and Soda, but I was surprised Darry let it get like this.

I did my best at cleaning because I wanted to get on Darry's good side so maybe he would let me go out. While I was in the middle of cleaning the kitchen, Two-Bit opened the screen door. He let it slam, and I jumped.

"Hey, Pony." He said with a grin, running into the kitchen and slugging me in the shoulder.

"Don't scare me like that." I groaned, but couldn't help laughing. Two-Bit had that quality on almost anyone.

"So a not so little birdy told me that you beat up a soc." He said, sitting down in a chair and putting his feet on the table. I blushed, and set down the rag I was wiping the counter with. "How did that go with Darry?"

"He didn't care." I lied. Two-Bit started bursting out laughing, and my face heated even more.

"Yeah, right. Darry not caring that you beat the shit out of someone and got suspended. Funny." He said between wheezes. I crossed my arms. "You don't gotta get mad, kid."

"I'm not." I grunted, turning back around and continuing my chores.

"Whatever you say." He said, going to the fridge and grabbing a beer. I looked at it curiously, and toyed with the thought of grabbing one. I was pissed at Darry, and I knew it would piss him off more than anything.

Maybe I would, if I could just get away from Two-Bit.
