Hey guys! It's been awhile, sorry. Okay, so this story has mainly been third person omniscient for Violet, but I'm going to start getting into other people's lives as well. Okay? Okay. Because the whole thing isn't going to just revolve around Violet! Yay!! However, this chp starts off with Violet's thought train...again. " * " Represents flashbacks.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

* 'Is it strange to think that I am alone?' I sat on an old swing in an abandoned junkyard/playground. 'I mean, there is so many people with me, but they aren't with me at the same time.'

"WHY DO I EVEN BOTHER!?" Nothing and no one could hear me scream in the playground. "It's all a waste," I said quietly.

"Maybe I belong here, with the junk. Queen of the fuckin' junkyard, because I'll never be good at anything. I'm just a tumble weed in a world full of trees."

'But even trees get uprooted. The only difference is that they die.'

My phone began to play music.

"For what you did to me
And what I'll do to you
You get, what everyone else gets
You get a lifetime"

How long is a lifetime?

A lifetime depended on who you were. For the average Killjoy: 22 years. The average Draculoid: 30 years. The average Rat: 19 years. The average S/C/A/R/E/C/R/O/W: 50 years...until execution. The average citizen: Full life expectancy. Airi Isodo/NewsAGoGo: (if the comics are reliable) multiple rebirths, all of which stop aging around the age of 30; except the original, of course. Korse: infinite years. The Fabulous: 31.5 years (averaging out their Danger Days ages).

But how long am I going to live?

How long was Violet Rose going to live? Between the daily endangerment of life, the constant worry of being recognized, and the once regularly occurring panic attacks that could strike at any time, Violet was less than the average Killjoy. Way less. In fact, she would had died two months earlier if she had only saved a normal Killjoys, and not one of the Fabulous. It was just pure luck that of all the Killjoys she could have come upon, it was Kobra Kid the co-leader.

What was he doing out there anyways?

The only question that even mattered....

Violet enjoyed semi-consciousness. It reminded her of being Shay. Every time she had a panic attack, or a suicide attempt, she would fall into the endless pit of only being half conscious. Every doctor she ever had had called it "shock," but real shock was different. The only time she had ever went into real shock was when she was shot. She felt nothing. Semi-consciousness was very different. It's like being there, without actually being there. She was able to see everything around her, and, in some strange sense, she was even able to see herself.

She was not as tall as she would have liked to be, nor as thin. However, she did lose some weight due to "Power Pup." She had re-dyed her hair the day Jet Star had died. Two days before the funeral that she was now collapsed at. Her clothes were now sun bleached, but still maintained some color.

Kobra was holding her. He seemed...alarmed. Ghoul, as well, was worried. He never meant to send the poor girl into a panic attack. He wondered what it must have felt like to have one of your heroes freak out on you. The thought made him regret his own actions toward the girl even more. Poison and Cola had already jumped up, ready to carry her back to the base.  Pony was...sad.  Violet had become one of his best friends over the past month.  He hadn't had a real friend since the world went white.  Sure, he had the guys, but, ever since the beginning, they were only associated by fame, and that included Cherri.

It seemed both Violet and Pony had an understanding.  To each other, they were just Killjoys.  Violet had even trusted Pony enough to tello him about her crush on Dusty, something she had never told anyone.  From then on he realized that he and Violet were similar.  Even though the other guys were all fucking other guys, they only used those people as replacements for the women they had lost.  Even Pony was just a replacement.  None of the guys truely knew what it was like to love someone of the same gender.  Violet knew.  She knew the pain of other people's disapproval, the loneliness of being different, the sacrifice she had made, and the disappointment of unrequited love.

But Violet was lucky.  She grew up in a more approving world.  She wasn't beat-up everyday by homophobes, like Ricky was.  She wasn't threatened by her family to be sent to an institution, like Ricky was.  She wasn't thrown into school locker to the point where she gained claustrophobia, like Ricky was.  She wasn't getting school notes from teachers that said inappropriate things like "faggot" or "queer," like Ricky was.  She wasn't truly friendless, like Ricky.

Show Pony became famous, though.  Later taking the name Ricky Rebel for the stage.  He was a singer in Europe.  He was a spokes person for all homosexual teens.  He never gave in.  Even when he was centimeters from being six feet underground with rope burn around his neck, he still had hope.  It was painful, though, that when he was finally happy, the world was bleached.

In some ways, however, it was okay that the world was bleached.  No one in the Zones had to suffer because of who they were.  It was okay to be anything.  No one would ever feel the way Ricky had felt, not even Pony.  The only person who would be judged on his sexual preferences was Korse, whom deserved all of the hate he could get.

Though, even with people not being judged, it made Show Pony realize the only happiness he could ever find would be found in death.  Something he was trying to avoid....

Pony's clouded thoughts were cleared as the boys started rushing Violet to the infirmary.  Dr. Death figured it was just a panic attack that was put on from stress, and possibly guilt, but it would be better to keep her in the ward over night, "just in case."

Feline Revenge was the only one to argue his point.  "She did this a few times at school before.  She's a total attention whore.  Don't even bother with her."

"Now listen here, you little shit," Party broke in, "all Vie ever is is nice to you!  She protects you from all of our crap, and all you've ever done is be a bitch to her.  None of us like you.  She's the only one who ever cares for you.  If it wasn't for her, we'd have ditched you out in the middle of the desert, just like you deserve.  We don't trust you, Cat...or should we say something else that rhymes with that."

Everyone was shocked by Party's outburst, seeing as how he was the "nice" one.  No one dared disagree with him, however.  The all knew he spoke the truth....
