Chapter 11. The News

Alice POV

Almost a month has passed since the first day of school. Ginny, Neville, and I are eating breakfast right now, while the 'Golden Trio' is sitting down farther away from us. All of us have been trying to stay away from the others, but if we do meet, we just shrug it off. Dumbledore steps up and claps his hands. Everyone quiets down. 

"I would like to make two announcements. The first one is that today, this evening we will be having more exchange students. The second one is that a week before the Christmas Holidays begin, there will be a ball for the exchange students since we never had Exchange Students before. Please prepare, get your dates, robes, and learn how to dance. Dismissed!".

OMG!! I can't wait for the ES (Exchange Students). I wonder if one of them is going to be Jasper! Or my cousins! Anyway, I can't wait! Harry and the other two walk over.

"Have a date Death Eater? Probably won't since you are his grandniece." Emphasizing the 'his'.

"I will see if my date is coming over this evening, but I would rather worry about you getting yourself a date since Ginny doesn't want to, and you only want her.". I laugh and walk away.

Le Time Skip

After a day's work of school, it's finally dinner! I am soooooooo hungry. But I also can't wait for the new ES, I sacrifice my food with Ginny and Neville then sit down and eat dinner. After about 30 minutes of eating and chatting Dumbledore stands up and claps his hands. Everyone quiets down and we are all waiting for the announcement.

"I hope everyone had a nice day and dinner, but as you remember this morning, I told you we will be having more ES. Well here they are!". He finishes and everyone claps. Suddenly the doors crash open and 3 teenagers walk in. I recognize them as Jasper, Sammy, and James! They notice me waving to them and run over. I hug James and do my secret handshake with Sammy. When Jasper comes over, all the girls swoon over him. He pushes threw them to me and kisses me on the cheek. "Good to see you again Alice.". I smile.

"Good to see you three as well!". But of course, Dumbledore interrupts our fun by making everyone sit down.

"The ES will now get sorted.". Minnie stood up and started calling their names, it went like this.

"Grace Jasper!". Jasper stood up and started walking to the hat that magically popped out of nowhere. Before he could get there the hat started screaming like it did for me.

"No get away from meee!!! Your just like the girl!!! How do you not go insane, just go to Gryffindor!" and he sat next to me. Next was Sammy.

"Valdez Sammy!". Just like Jasper, the hat started screaming and said to sit down at Gryffindor, she sat across us. Last was James.

"Zhang James!", the sorting was just like Sammy and Jasper, except that this time the hat said that it would pay for therapy for us. I laughed. Once they are all seated Dumbledore wishes a good night and we are off to our room.

Once we did get to the Gryffindor Common Room, we noticed that Harry, Ron, and Hermione where already there.

"So. How do you know each other?" Ginny asks me. I see the 'Golden Trio' move a bit closer as if they want to know what we are talking about. We all sat down on the cushions.

"Well Ginny, we met back at camp, or more like our parents are friends and we first met when we were 3. Actually, I was 3. Jasper was 4, and Sammy and James where 2. We grew up together and we all go to camp. That's how we know each other.".

I then turned to Harry and the other two. "This morning you were wondering who my date would be to the dance. Well me and my boyfriend will go." I say pointing to Jasper.

Jasper nodded since we already talked this over (I also notice some of the girls have a bit of a glum face after I said that). "And Sammy and James will also go because they are also dating. Right?" they both blushed and nodded. "Do you know who you will be going with to the ball?". I ask them. They try to look anywhere else but me.

"No, we don't." Ron mumbled. "But we still have time!" he then yelled, like if that will help. I shrug and go into the 'Guests' room, Sammy, Jasper and James following me. When we walked in, I noticed there was an extra room with the names Sammy and James. While my door also changed, it now said. Alice and Jasper. I smile and lead Jasper into my- our room.

When we walk inside, I see that there's another bed, bathroom with a toilet and all. He also has his own couch. Actually, he doesn't have a couch, it's more like my couch split into two. So now we both have one cushion, one of the cushions is like the sky, with lightning (Jasper's) and the other is sea-green and gray (Alice's). Jasper walks over to his cushion and reads a note on it. It said,

"Dear Jasper,

We hope you like your room. Just like Alice, if you want more say 'Beauty Queen' and a closet with a makeup station will show up. There's nothing from your father's side, except if you want a stack of bricks/staplers. Have fun! – Jupiter and Grandma Aphrodite"

Jasper just stares at the paper while I laugh. "So, your grandparents also allow you to call them Grandma and Grandpa." I giggle. "Well at least we now know where to get our clothes for the ball!" I say and we go to sleep.

Time Skip to The Morning

I wake up and dress into my clothes (Dumbledore said we don't need robes). When I walk out of the bathroom, I notice Jasper is awake and dressed as well. "Are you excited for your first day Jasper?" I smile as I ask him. He turns to me and to reply.

"Yes I am. Let's go to breakfast now, I'm starving!". We walk out of our room and into the big room. There we notice Sammy and James on the couch. "Come on guys, time to go to breakfast!" Jasper yells at them and they jump 5 feet in the air.

"Don't scare us like that Jasper!" Sammy yells back. Ah, it's good to be back with the other's.
We walk downstairs with Ginny and sit down. "I didn't hear any screaming this night." Ginny tells us. (only Demigods can hear Alice's and Jasper's screaming threw McGonagall's/Minnie's silencing charm) I scratch my back. "Well Ginny, remember the first day of school? At dinner?" she nods. Then her eyes widen.

"Oh, so that's what you meant." With a small smirk on her face. I blush and finish breakfast while Jasper stares at us. Minnie walks up to us and gives Jasper, Sammy, and James their times tables. Turns out we have the same lessons!
