Chapter 51

The most beautiful day on earth.

A week had gone by the rain had at last stopped some places were still in flood.

Marcus had enough waiting around he had the earrings and necklace he was ready to marry his beauty.

His carriage driver started their journey taking extra care of stopping of at places so the horses could rest and eat.

Marcus also needed to look his best when he arrived because they would marry as soon as possible.

Sending a flight pigeon telling the family he was on his way would see Eva exuberant he hoped.

Opening the little box peering down at the diamond and sapphire ring sparkling in the carriage light smiling at how happy he was Marcus closed the little box waiting to be slid on her finger.

Jumping up and down after the flight pigeon message in tow Eva was twirling round and round gay with happiness "I will be married tonight."

Her mama took Eva's hand in hers showing Eva her old wedding dress wrapped up in a white box covered with tissue paper.

"This is what I wore when I married your father all those years ago" her mother delicately holding the dress up between her fingers.

"I had my seamstress adjust the dress for you" her mama exclaims hesitant.

"We don't have enough time to plan a wedding as Sophie did with Magdalena my dear."

Touching the satiny dress Eva was beyond caring "I love the dress mama thank you so much pulling her mama into a hug"

They cried together Eva because she was in love. Elisabetha because she was losing her eldest daughter one of her babies.

Trying the dress on Eva looked radiant, a beautiful future bride.

"Eva you are breath taking, I love you so much and I hope you will be happy with Marcus as I am with your papa."

The carriage took ages to arrive becoming impatient he shouted "how far are we Charley, not to long me lordship 30 minutes approx the coach driver answered back."

Jumping out before his driver could open the door, Marcus strode forward crunching the ice under his boots, excitement pooled in his belly reunited with Eva at long last.

Knocking on the door loudly, his hand chilled to the bone. The butler opened the door with a fake gracious smile.

"My lord he answers dourly eyeing Marcus with distaste, Ah my favourite butler fribbons patting his shoulder roughly, where else do I get the look of pure dislike every time" Marcus chuckles entering the foyer.

Eva hearing his voice shouted "I'm up here Marcus having a bath"

Trying to enter Marcus was stopped by a persistent ladies maid stopping him entering.

"You cannot go inside my lord, My lady is washing, come back after you are married she sniped back"

Smiling down at her his wicked smile caused the ladies maid to suck in her breath "Please I need to present my lady with her ring"

Taking a small package from his pocket Marcus showed her the diamond and sapphire engagement ring.

"Oh my the maid replies her eyes bulging out of their sockets, go on get but be quick no hanky panky either she replies with a stern no nonsense glare"

Upon entering the room Eva has her long leg up washing with soapy suds.

Her full breast underneath the bath water.
