POV Jade; Windhelm
"We need horses", Gandalf moaned. I finished my plate and stood up from the table. Some dwarves were sitting next to the fireplace and warming themselves. It was very cold this morning. Elda came out of the kitching, preparing to clean up the table. I looked at her wondering from where should I get so many horses. I knew our Windhelm stables didn't had about 20 horses. All horses were sold to Solitude to the Imperials. And I didn't had enough courage and heart to step into my father's castle and ask for his help. Besides that, he hated outsiders. Considering my guests were from Middle-Earth. Although I didn't understood what was the big deal about them. I never heard of any trouble of 'em. Skyrim against Middle-Earth. Maybe even whole Tamriel.
I walked beside Gandalf to the front door and got on my boots. He followed me with fast steps. I leaned against the wall to get my foot into my thigh leather boot. He raised his eyebrow. I shrugged with my shoulders and put on my cloak.
"I will go and ask the stable master if he has any horses. I woulnd't mind, nor would he...", I obiviously lied. Gandalf grinned a gentle smile and smoked from his pipe. I saw some dwarves helping Elda clean and they sung. I smiled at them and looked at Gandalf.
"I know who you are."
I blinked rapidly and I felt my heart sink deep into my stomach. I felt my cheeks slowly getting warm.
"Wh-... How...?", I didn't even dare to speak. He smiled at my question and put a hand on my shoulder.
"Go ask your father. Ulfric is an wise man. He may murderer Torygg, High King of Skyrim, but he has a good heart." My warm feeling disappeared. How did he knew? He open the door, and wind blew into the warm inn. I heard people screaming already and the sound of wood being burned in front of the gates for homeless people to get warm. The snow was falling heavy and the air was cold. I beam at Gandalf and stepped a step outside the door. Snowflakes already fell on my hair.
"May I come with you?", a soft voice asked me. I turned.
Bilbo was standing in front of me, getting a cloak on. I was baffled yet surprised he wanted to accompany me. I smiled as an acknowledge I'd be pleased to go with him. I waited as he got ready and we both stepped outside, me closing the door. He looked around and at the snow. He glanced down to his hairy feet, covered with snow.
"We could fix you some shoes, at the blacksmith", I teased him. He laughed a quick smile and look at me. But I noticed his eyes wandering next to me. His happy face turned into a worried and serious expression. I turned myself, to face four Nords around a Dark elf woman. I looked down, with debase. They started to push her around in the round. I felt Bilbos stare.
"What is going on there", he quietly asked me. I exhaled cold air and I focused to keep my anger inside of me. I looked over to examine exactly what they were doing. I felt my anger in my knees and my eyes started to get wet.
"You dark elves are thieves. Bloody bastards! Go back to Morrorwind!", a Nord yelled out, punching the woman to the ground leaving her aching on the cold and wet ground. Everyone just walked passed her, not even noticing her. As she was invisible. I looked at Bilbo, who was shocked and gulped. As if it was not bad enough, a Nord even pickpocket the woman, kicking her and leaving her. No one came to help her. She was left alone, sobbing. I turned Bilbo away without a word what we just witnessed and we walked quickly through the crowed of people, gathering around the woman and piting her. We walked into an ally as we stopped to get some air. We were safe from guards patrolling the streets and no one could manage to get a peek at Bilbo.
"What was that for?", he asked upset. I looked left and right and leaned on the wall to get some air. I felt dizzy and felt anxious. What if that would happen to the dwarves? I closed my eyes and I was breathing deep. Unexpected I felt arms around my body.
