Tonight has not been the typical Saturday night for us usually it's at our typical party spot. In my mind, I know Alex is trying to show Kat he's changing but is she buying it? My chest tightens at the thought. She's smarter than that. I shower quickly putting in a T-shirt and jeans. Grab my keys walking out the door. The spring air feels good as it blows into my damp hair. Not wanting to admit how much tonight affected me. Wanting to touch her and her laughing only for me. When did I become possessive of a woman I can't claim as mine even if she feels like she is. I need some answers but only from her. I didn't want him to have the opportunity to hang around after they got back but I wanted to be here so I could go to her quickly after. She has no idea the effect she has on me or the hold. I could never feel this intense connection with anyone else I would only be fooling myself to think anyone could measure up. All the parties, all the girl's none of that mattered with her she saw me exposed without me having to bare my soul to her even though I desperately wanted to. But I know that will never be. Alex sees her as always being his but that's not the case anymore she has become mine. But will I be able to fight for what's mine...
