AUTHOR'S NOTE
Dear Readers,
Thank you for getting this far with my novel Sisters. The last I checked I had 61 views which is pretty great in my standards.
Now, throughout the story (Chapters 1-7) you have been reading the story in the protagonist, Hilda Stone's point of view. For the next couple of chapters, we will be shifting the spotlight to one of our supporting characters, Rose Waters.
Rose Waters is a fun character and even though she isn't my favourite (I'd go with either Genevieve or Anna), I had a lot of fun creating her. If you know my writing style, you will know that I don't plan, I write. Writing classes were annoying as I always had to plan before. Sometimes I would write and plan afterward. Weird, I know.
The story behind the story is that it started of as a sort of competition - me and my sister were both going to write a story of reunited twins, one old-fashioned and bullied by the other, more chic one, until they find out. (I'm sorry if I spoiled it for you, but I think you would have guessed it by now. I wasn't very subtle.) One was going to be called Hilda (a horrible old-fashioned name, lol) and the other Anna Willows. We couldn't quite think of what surname sounded the best with Hilda, but then my dad suggested Stone, and we were all like, THAT'S PERFECT! We didn't realise until later that Hilda Stone was my nana's old friend...
I made Genevieve on the spot at the CAVEMAN scene because I needed Hilda to have a brave friend. Also, because there was no other way the 'riot' (Hilda's words, not mine) would have stopped.
I created Rose at the Emporium scene because I wanted Deirdre to have a bit of a laugh. She was so fake, I needed to shove some real in her.
Anyway, I present - ROSE'S POINT OF VIEW FOR THE NEXT CHAPTER!
