"So will you tell a story, (Y/N)? Will tell tell Mr. Shinso a story and a I a story, a lovely, sad story?" Mina asks, eating
"Well....ok." (Y/N) was thinking what story to tell before Shinso spoke again, "Climb on the table and stand in the middle of it." (Y/N) listens and does what she is told to do. "Yes. Perfect, right there where I can see you easily."
"Okay." (Y/N) went back to thinking of a story she could tell. She only knew ones her mother read her, but those stories were happy.
"Oh, I love love stories, don't you?" Mina whispered to Shinso cause the mole to nod as (Y/N)
"Once upon a time, there was the sun." (Y/N) spoke, she didn't sing as she had forgotten Mina asked her to.
"Sing it, (Y/N). Sing." Mina reminded her, causing (Y/N) to nod.
Shinso didn't care if she could sign as most voices she heard were awful, so how could this small girl have a voice many spoke about. He was gonna be the judge if she could really sing and let me say, he was not a nice judge about horrible looks or voices.
"Oh. Um....Once there was the sun. Bright and warm and wonderful. Shining like the love within my heart. Now there's no more sun." She closed her eyes, thinking of Katsuki, her sun. While Shinso relaxes enjoying (Y/N) beautiful voice. He now truly understood why everyone was talking about it. "Winter has killed everything and although it's dark December. Forever. I'll remember sun. Winter has killed everything, even the sun." She finished, quickly wiping a tear from her cheek as she thought about Katsuki.
"What a wonderful story." Mina compliments while clapping while Shinso nods in agreement.
"Dreadful thing, the sun. And now, I have a story to tell you. Just this morning, as I was out for my early morning stroll...I found the most extraordinary thing in my tunnel: A dead bird." Shinso starts as he started to walk and the two follow him.
"No!"
"Yes."
"How do you suppose a dead bird got into my tunnel?" Mina asks, walking beside him while (Y/N) follows from behind.
"Well, I'm certainly glad I'm not a bird. Bothering the world with endless twittering, twittering, twittering....My, yes. Oh, there it is!" Shinso points into a whole where a familiar green bird could be seen.
"Oh! Whatever do you suppose happened to him?" Mina asks as (Y/N) eyes widen as she got a good look at the bird.
"Well, there's one less bird to twitter, twitter, twitter up there."
(Y/N) quickly ran over to him, looking over his body, trying to figure out what happened to him. "Oh, Izuku. Izuku. My dear, dear friend."
"Tender little thing."
"Yes, quite lovely. Mina, could I have a word with you?" Shinso asks walking away from (Y/N) while leading Mina away as well.
"I wish you would."
"You know I have been meaning to take a wife for some time now."
"What a lovely idea."
"I find myself sometimes, you know...lonely for companionship."
"What could be more natural?"
"And I wonder if--" He rubbed the back of his neck as he chose his next words, the silence caused Mina to speak.
"Yes?"
"If I could ask you to help me persuade Miss (Y/N)...to be my wife?"
"(Y/N)?" Mina glanced over at the girl who was still checking over Izuku.
"She could keep me company and tell me stories. And for your service in helping to arrange this match...I will reward you handsomely." Shinso bent over and picked a coin, cleaning it off and handing it to her.
"Oh! I will. I will!"
"Mina-"
"Leave the arrangements to me. (Y/N)"
The small girl placed her head on his chest and heard a familiar pounding, "I hear your heart. You're not dead, no. Izuku. Izuku. I'll come back. Tonight." She promises, laying over the hood she was given by Mina and laid it on top of him.
"(Y/N)?" Mina repeats, wondering why the girl was taking forever before she made her way over to Mina and Shinso. The three left and (Y/N) looked back at Izuku one more time before looking forward, watching the rodents talk.
However with a certain toad and beetle things are actually looking up. "One ice-cold prince coming up. Where do you want him?" Denki asks Mineta, looking at him as the frozen block of ice was placed in front him,
"There." He points to a stop and the beetles stop moving it, "He looks dead."
"Dead? Dead, schmed! What difference does it make?"
"You killed him."
Okay, okay, have it your way. I killed him. There, you satisfied? Forget the prince, all right? What if I were to tell you I know where (Y/N) is right now? What if I told you that? Would you give me my wings?" Denki asks hopeful as Mineta nodded and reached out his hand to Denki.
"I'm glad you kill the prince. It's a deal."
Denki nods and shakes Minetas hand. "Good. My sources tell me...she's buried alive with the mole."
"Mole? What mole?"
"If I were you, I'd get my tail over there and save her. Go. Get hopping. Oh, and give me my wings." Denki says, expecting Mineta to hand him over his wings.
"Where does the mole live? I will go kick down his door." Mineta grabs Denkis arm and starts to pull him while walking.
"Ooh! Ooh! Stop! Stop! What's going on? Where are we going?" Denki asks, confusedz
"We will go rescue (Y/N) from the mole."
"Mole? Are you out of your mind? I'm not going down there. Do you know what he does to beetles Do you have any idea? He stuffs them. He stuffs them and he pins them on his walls." Denki says, trying to get away from the toad.
"Quiet!"
"Why don't you just marry a toad? Ever think about that? Find a pretty toad with warts and marry her."
"Quiet!" Mineta smacked him on the back of the head causing Denki to fall. The toad grabbed his leg and started to drag the beetle.
"Toads. I gotta be stuck with toads." Denki mumbles, crossing his arms.
Now as the two walk off and the other beetles follow the two Eri, Kota and Miro watched before making their way to the ice cube. "They've got the fairy prince. We've gotta help him. Come on, guys, let's build a fire." Eri says as the two nod. Miro smiles, happy the girl was not afraid to help.
