My body sets aflame
With a burning sensation
When he glances at me,
With his warm brown eyes, igniting
My cold body, and melting all my worries.
And all too soon,
He flickers his attention to the fire
And starts blowing slowly into the red ashes
The intensity makes the flames dance
Under the moonlight;
Unbothered by the frigid cold breeze
As sparks start flying in the air.We sit like this- for a while
- in silence;
As the night engulfs us
While we listen to the fire
Expressing what we feel:
SparksIt was like our love
Was charming the fire
And sending the rising black
Smoke to touch the heavens
Above.
