Chapter 11

Jacob's P.O.V.

I just got off the phone with Jeffrey.  He just brought me up to speed with the events of last night and more importantly this morning.  I smiled as the images of what he described to me popped into my head.  He is trully happy and this thrills me.  I also have some decisions to make.  I may need to have a true heart to heart with Sky and it will be heart wrenching for the both of us but for now, I'll wait and see how things progress with them both.

Loretta walked into my office and says, "Okay so obviously I missed something very important yesterday because both my assistant and your partner have called out.  Explain, NOW!"  With a big smile I respond, "They finally know about each other's feelings and let's just say, they are spending the day exploring them.  They both need this."  She gave me a look that said spill it so I let her in on the events of last night but I didn't think Jeffrey would appreciate me detailing this mornings' events.  Although we share everything, I cannot bring myself to share that much with anyone else so I simply left that information out.  The smile on Loretta's face let me know just how she felt.  "Thank God!  It's about time.", she said.  I absolutely nodded in agreement.

"Well you know what this means?", she asks.  I give her a questioning look so she responds, "More work for us today!"

Loretta's P.O.V.

As I walked out of Jacob's office I'm grinning from ear to ear and I'm pretty sure that if all of these employees were not blatantly aware that both owners were gay, I'm sure they would have thought Jacob had given me a reason to smile.  As if...  I may have to go over to Jeffrey's later and get my hands on Sky to first and foremost, check up on him and second, to get all of the details.  I'm pretty sure Jacob left some things out.  He is very protective of Jeffrey and rightly so.

I just pray that everthing goes okay with Jeffrey and Sky because if two people ever deserved to be happy it was my two boys.  Honestly, I can't wait to see Sky and see it for myself.  I know that I'm the only one he trusts but I don't know much about him or his past.  All I get is the real Sky as apposed to the face he generally gives everyone else.  I believe that if anyone can get him to open up, Jeffrey can and if not then the only other person that could honestly get Sky to tell his story is Jacob.  I hope it doesn't come to that because I just don't know if any of us can go through that again.

Ellis' P.O.V.

After serving Sky and Jeffrey, I went to retrieve Sky's meager belongings and placed them in Jeffrey's room.  Already I am making a mental note of all the things I'll need to buy for him.  He really doesn't have much.  I'll do whatever it takes to make sure that THEY happen.  I smile to myself as I think of the delicate peck Jeffrey placed on Sky's lips and the blush that overtook his face was absolutely priceless.  He trully is beautiful and if I can help it, nothing will ever hurt him again.  Jeffrey is my most cherished charge outside of Jacob and the only way to keep him happy is to keep Sky happy and safe but I have to admit, this young man has managed to thaw my heart just a bit.

As I start to hear the boys conversing I think to myself, I better have a really good reason for leaving the condo and with that thought, I leave them alone to figure things out.
