— MESSAGES had been sent back and forth between you and Dream over the course of the weekend, and it seemed as though you guys were really getting along.
It was slow, for sure, you could sense this hesitancy from the both of you - But about what? You had no idea.
Maybe it was a little strange seeing as you two had never seen each other's face and that made it a little hard to connect with one another? But even as you tried to come up with reasons, Dream was making you doubt them all.
He was funny, and a little cocky - But he had an amazing personality, and you found yourself laughing out loud at some of the stupid shit he had sent you.
A bond was forming, and you were so grateful to finally make some friends.
But the idea of being friends with the Dream Team had played on your mind, especially after Dream's text saying your friendship would be determined by your skill in speedrunning.
You had only started playing the game properly just over a month ago, so you knew how hard it would be to start afresh, especially when the pressure of filming is on you too.
So, you had spent your weekend practising how to speed run.
You knew the whole point of the video you would be making on Monday was that they were supposed to be teaching you, but you really wanted the opportunity to start a friendship with them all, and this was your chance.
You had secretly been joining Dream's streams and watching him play, taking notes on how his player moves and how he organises his items in the hotbar. You studied what methods he uses for running, jumping, mining - And you took that into practice by hopping onto your own game, and trying to recreate what he does.
Usually, you would comment in the boy's streams - But you hadn't done that with Dream, wanting to keep up the rouse that you were refusing to watch his lives.
