— GOING on a pretend date with Dream was a great idea at the time, but the more you thought about it, the worse it got.

Even with your lack of experience with relationships, you knew that dates were NOT a friendly thing.

It seemed as though the entire SMP knew of the date, and Dream being himself, had been very cocky about it.

The date wasn't real, and yet everybody was treating it like it was.

Sapnap had tweeted about it on his second account, which only sent the entire fandom into chaos as your DMs were filled with questions, demanding an answer.

But the truth was, you didn't have an answer.

The only answer you knew was that Dream was your friend, one of your only friends, and you didn't want to let go of that.

Tommy had been in contact with you a lot recently, making a lot of small talk and giving compliments — Which only made you assume he was up to something.

But you had given him a chance and some friendly responses, and he had informed you that Dream had hired Tubbo to build a 'restaurant' on the server.

At first, you had laughed loudly.

And then once Tommy had sent you a screenshot of the 'scaffolding' around a building on the server, you had realised he was being serious.

You cursed Dream for putting Tubbo through all that hard work, but Tubbo had agreed to it, wanting to keep peace between the two teams after their independence was declared.

Although the idea of making a whole building for the date seemed stupid, it was still incredibly sweet of him to go through so much effort to do.

You had both agreed not to stream it, purely so you could actually enjoy it — But Tommy had insisted on 'running the restaurant', and he wanted his stream to watch.

So that brought you to Monday, three days after Dream had asked you on this silly date - And you had been told not to log onto the sever.

You had debated going onto Tommy's stream to spy on what they were doing, but he had his viewers on high alert, constantly typing ' @ ' into the chat to see if your username came up.

The tactic was smart, and so you avoided his stream.

It had been ten minutes already, and so you decided to head to Twitter to distract yourself.
