Damian waited for Marinette to come down. He was excited. He had the whole night planed, thanks to Jon of course. He still couldn't believe he told Jon he had a date, Damian wouldn't be surprised if he 'drops by.' When the elevator dinged he stood up from his spot on the lobby couch and watched the girl, he's not sure how to feel about, walk towards him. She wore black skinny jeans, with a red, off the shoulder blouse, with black flats. She had light pink lipstick, and a small amount of grey eyeshadow.
"You look amazing, Marinette." He said as he picked his jaw up off the floor.
"Thank you." She said. "You don't look to bad yourself."
Damian was wearing a dark blue button down shirt, with blue jeans and sneakers. His hair wasn't jelled back like it normally is. What Marinette mess to say is: He's drop-dead gorgeous.
"So, what are the plans mr." she said with a chuckle.
Damian blushed ever-so-slightly, before clearing his throat and guiding Marinette to his car. "First were going to the boardwalk, and there are fireworks tonight, but before that—" Damian pulled out a single yellow rose and handed it to Marinette.
"It's beautiful." She whispered as she sniffed it.

After driving for a few minutes, they made it to the boardwalk. Damian, being a gentleman, opened Marinette door before they headed off I to find somewhere to eat.

"This place is amazing!" Marinette exclaimed as she took a bite of the spaghetti.
"Yes, for boardwalk food it is." Damian said with a shrug
"Don't be an ass, Colin." Marinette said with a giggle.
"What?"
"It's from a show I watch. A character, named Colin, is a pompous, spoiled, rich kid, and he mocks this bar tender that works for their party's. The hottie, tells him to stop being an ass. It's pretty funny. It happens a lot." She couldn't stop giggling. But she had this dread that it's all a dream. Or a nightmare her class concocted to make her life worse then it already was.
"What's wrong?" Damian asked, catching her mood change.
"Nothing." She sighed as she ate her spaghetti.
But Damian wasn't giving up. He knew something was wrong. So, he reached over and gently grabbed her hand. Startling her before she looked at him.
"What's wrong, Marinette?" He asked again, but this time with more concern.
Marinette knew she was deflecting his question. She doesn't want to ruin the date. He's been nothing but perfect, and somehow she keeps messing things up. So, instead of answering, she looked down at their joined hands. Her other hands played with his fingers as she tried to make up an excuse.

"I want to show you something." Damian said as he stood up. His hand still holding Marinette's.
"What is it?" Mari asked curiously.
Chucking, Damian pulled her into a standing position before leading her down the boardwalk and onto the sand. And for just like that, Marinette didn't feel scared anymore. She only lets her friends lead her places like this. And the realization that Damian was doing it, didn't scare her like she thought it would. She couldn't trust a lot of people. Hell, she could barely trust herself, but this was different.
Being here. Walking on the shore together. Listening to the waves rush to shore, and return to sea. The moon shining down, this was perfect. And then the fireworks went off. Some had the theme of Batman and his team. Marinette could help but smile and watch the different colors and designs appear. And Damian couldn't help but watch the light and colors reflect off her face and eyes.
"It's beautiful." She whispered and turned to look at Damian, but realized he was looking at her.
"She really is." He said not breaking eye contact.
Marinette blushed and buried her face in Damians arm. He simply chuckled at how flustered she was. He gently tilted her head up so she was looking at him, before capturing her lips in a light, sweet kiss. It was shirt and sweet, before he pulled back. He didn't want to over step anything, but he had to do that. What surprised him most, was the fact that Marinette wrapped her arms around his neck and pulled him for another kiss. But this time is was hard and fast. His arms wrapped around her waist as he kissed her with more passion then he thought, but she was matching his passion with ease. He kept his hands around her waist, and was completely unaware of the fireworks going off. It's as if his senses dialed in on the way Marinette's lips were soft and tasted like honey. And the fact that her fingers gently played with the ends of his hair. And when they had to separate for air, they couldn't stop smiling at each other.
"What does this mean?" Marinette asked between breaths.
"I believe this is when I ask for either a second date or I ask you to be my girlfriend. Either way I'm good." Damian replied with a smile.
Mari giggled and buried her face in his shoulder. "I'd love to be your girlfriend." She whispered after a few minutes. "But you don't think we're going to fast?" She asked before pulling back to look at his face.
Damian though for a moment. A moment, and that's all he needed. "No. Because I know that I like you more then I should in the three days we've met. And I'm not going to let you get away that easily."
Marinette couldn't help it. But she felt the same way. Something about Damian made her feel safe and wanted. He didn't demand anything from me, besides my company and, apparently, my affection. So she kissed him and rested her head against his chest. Happy for the first time in a very long time.

When they returned to the hotel, Damian walked her all the way to her's and Chloé's room. He kissed her goodnight with a promise of seeing her tomorrow before leaving. When Marinette walked inside, all her friends were waiting for her. She smiled happily before telling them everything.

Hey,
The wining pair was Tim/Chloé, and Alix/Kagami. I thought about Alix/James, but then Gami would be lonely, and I couldn't have that. 😂
Anyways, thanks for the ideas and helping me decide. Appreciate it😉
