Damian
I ignored my brothers, as they asked where I've been. Before I came home, I stoped and washed my face. Mostly to get the lipstick off my lips and the goofy smile into a frown.
"I was out. Now I'm back. Leave me alone or I'll burry you in an unmarked grave." I threatened before diving into my room. Titus could smell Marinette on me, so he quickly sniffed me before going and laying down on my bed. But the smile I hid from my brothers returned as Marinette crept into my mind.Marinette
The next day, I dressed in a dark blue, spaghetti strapped, floral, sun dress. I wore black sandals and a a small necklace chain. Chloé wore a yellow sundress, with little black flowers on it, with tan sandals. Alix wore a long green sundress, with a silver medallion, and tan sandals. Kagami wore a red sundress, with black sandals. All of us wearing some sort of shorts underneath.
After awhile, Alix and I started wearing dress and skirts more often. I stopped after Adrien started stalking me, but I was so happy and mushy, I wanted to show off. I of course had to shave, but it was worth it. Our make up was really light, but I saw Alix and Kagami steaming glances at each other. I nudged Chloé and gestured towards them. We came up with a plan to get them together. I sent Kim the idea and he was all in. When we got down to the lobby, I saw Damian and two people I didn't know waiting. I scanned the two new boys and sighed. One had blond hair and bright blue eyes, and looked like a marshmallow. The other looked like he hadn't slept in a week or two. He had a mug in one hand, and his phone in the other. He had dark hair and blue eyes. Wow, what's with the blue eyes? I walked over to Damian and pecked his cheek before introducing myself to the two gawking guys next to him.
"Hi, I'm Marinette and these are my friends, Kagami, Alix, Chloé, Luka, and Kim." I said with a small smile. I'm not going to get hurt again by new people.
"Marinette, this is Jon Kent and my brother Tim Drake." He put a lot of emphasis on their last names.
"It's nice to meet you. So this is Mar'is other uncle. He must be the one that's always tired." I giggled and Damian wrapped his arm around my waist.
"How did you sleep last night Midnight?" Damian whispered.
"Pretty good. All things considering." I said with a smirk.
"Like what?" He challenged
"Well, I got a boyfriend last night. My Honorary uncle became a father yesterday. And I can finally start that baby line I've been try to start for a few years now." I said while counting them on my fingers.
"What boyfriend?"
I stiffened. That voice. It's the one of the many voices that plague my dreams. That voice belonged to the one and only Alya.
"None of your business, Alya. Take a hike." Chloé said as she stood directly behind me.
"What do you know, Chloé? I'm Marinette's best friend!" She yelled and that's when I lost it.
"No! No your not my best friend! A best friend doesn't hit me, or call me fat to point where I stop eating. A friend doesn't try to set me up with a stalker repeatedly! A. FREIND! Listens when the other is trying to warn you about someone! So, Alya, I'm not your friend. We're not even aquatinted." I said as I moved closer to Damian. His arm tightened, and it hit me. I just told Damian some of the worst things my class has done to me. Oh shit. I stepped out of Damians embrace, before running out the front door. I heard them chasing me, I wasn't listening anymore. Happiness. What is happiness? It's the state of being happy. I'll never get that. I had it, but I won't ever again. Last night was a freak accident, meant to to trick me into forgetting. That how it works. That's how it always works. I didn't even know I was on the roof till I stopped and looked around. I was on top of Wayne Manor.
"Tikki, what am I suppose to do?" I asked
"You should talk to Damian. He's chased you seven blocks before he lost sight of you. He cares about you. You just have to let him in long enough so he can prove it." I sighed before flopping down on the roof.
She's right. She's always right.
"I'm with Sugar Cubes on this one. He's a good guys, and he proved it last night. Or do you not remember the face eating that was going on?"
I blushed and hid my face in my hands. They're right. I'm scared of getting used and hurt all over again. There I admitted it. I use to have everything, then I had nothing. Now? Now, I might have something and it scares me in more ways then one.
"MARINETTE! COME DOWN PLEASE!"
They found me. They always find me.
"WHY? SO I CAN GO BACK TI HELL?! NO THANKS!!" I called back.
"MIDNIGHT COME DOWN PLEASE!!" I heard Damian call. "OR IM COMING UP THERE!!"
I chuckled. "NOT HAPPENING!" And just like that, I laid back down and watched the clouds pass by. Much like my life. And just as I started to spiral, there was a thud on the roof a few feet away.
"Marinette, you ok?" Damian asked as he pulled me into a sitting position.
"I'm getting to ok. I'm sorry you had to see that." I whispered.
"Hey, it's ok. A little concerning, but we'll talk about it later. For now, we're going to the gardens. Chloé said you've been looking forward to them since you got here."
I sighed. That's true, but I really don't want to face Alya, Lila, and Adrien. But I have no choice. So I kissed him softly, before jumping off the roof and doing a flip and landing in a roll. Guess I'm going to hell after all. And when I looked at the group of people that followed me to the Manor, I smirked when I saw Chloé and Tim talking and Kim and Jon talking.
