Chapter 10

Marinette

After walking threw the gardens for awhile, I split off from the group to find a place I could gain some sort of inspiration for my baby clothes. When I found a beautiful pond with weeping willows hanging over it, with flowers and all around it. Smiling, I climbed up one of the branches and leaned against the tree, while sitting on the branch. And before I knew it, I was designing all the baby clothes I could.

"Excuse me miss, are you alone here?" A voiced called from below. When I looked at who the voice belonged too, I instantly noticed the green jacket and white face paint.
"What's it to you?" I asked
"Contrary to what people believe, I have a soul somewhere in this body. It's somewhere in here." He said "I just wanted to make sure you were ok. I heard what happened."
I smiled before jumping down. "My name is Marinette." I said sticking my hand out with a smile.
"You can call me Jack." He said with his own smile.

After my chat with the Joker, multiple villains came up to make sure I was ok. Harley Quinn, Poison Ivy, Riddler, and the Penguin. All of them witnessed what happened with Adrien, and basically accepted me into their family.
When I met with the last villan/rouge, I went to find Chloé. But what was even better, was the fact I saw Luka and Barbara kissing behind a tree. Barbara was in her wheelchair and Luka was kneeled down next to her. I smiled, snapped a quick picture, before running to find Chloé and the rest of my group.

"Guys! I have some big news!" I yelled as I raced across the small field.
"What is it Marinette?" Kim asked as I finally caught them. Bending over to catch my breath, I pulled up the photo and handed it to Kim.
"Oh, this is too good." He smirked and showed the rest of the group the photo. They all cheered and shouted while I jumped on Kim's back.
"Even better, I think their still at it." I said with a smirk. Kim took off, followed by the rest of the group. And when we got to the tree I saw them at, they were still at it. I held up three fingers and counted down before we call started to cat-call them. We watched Luka chuckled and Barbara laugh. He kissed her once more, before pushing her to where we were.
"How long?" He asked when he stopped.
"Well, I saw you after I met and was accepted into the family of all the Gotham villains, I found you guys. Took a picture, found the rest of the gang, before we raced over here." I smirked as Luka blushed. "When did this become a thing?" I asked wiggling my eyebrows suggestively.
"A year ago."
"WHAT?!" Everyone yelled as Barbara and Luka covered their ears. "You didn't tell us!! I'm hurt." Chloé said as she dramatically flopped into Time arms. But Barbara's got something up her sleeve.
"And when did you two happen?" She asked pointing to Damians and I.
"Last night." He shrugged.
"So that's where you were!" Tim exclaimed as he held Chloé up.
"I've heard a lot about you Marinette. Luka tells me your a designer."
"Yes I am. I'm currently designing baby clothes for my cousin. My uncle and aunt has their baby yesterday." I said with a bright smile, as I slid off of Kim's back and walked over to Barbara. "And since you are dating Luka, and I'm dating Damian, you officially family. So I'll be making you something. Don't try and ask for a price, it's not happening." I said as I gently hugged Barbara. And when I heard sniffling, I turned to see all my friends crying. "And why the hell are you guys crying?" I asked with a raised eyebrow.
"You don't see it?" Kagami asked as she leaned against Alix. "Your sunshine again."
I smiled before I started laughing. And it wasn't a normal laugh, it was full on, struggling to breath, laughter. And it was contagious. After a few minutes, we settled down. And I felt like I use to. I didn't feel so depressed and angry. Man this city's a miracle.
