Morgan Monteith

Morgan was anything but happy at the fact that Damon was forcing her to attend some stupid tea party with him. Yet she found herself putting her hair in a half up half down style before she put on the dress he had very kindly presented her with, and smoothly slipped on the matching pair of heels.

It had been a while since Morgan had last been in a pair this high, but she found that walking in them was like riding a bike, if you ignored the immense pain your feet was in.

Damon stood at the bottom of the stairs in the foyer and waited as Morgan began descending them.

He was positively and very much pleasantly surprised as he gave her an elevator look, agreeing with himself that this had by far been one of his best ideas yet.

The silk, spaghetti strap dress he'd chosen for her hugged her in all the right places and moved beautifully with her body considering its rather loose fit. The heels hadn't been a bad choice either.
She looked like a perfect balance between Katherine and Elena. Formal, though rough around the edges and gentle in her movements and gaze.

"Wow, don't you clean up nice." Damon complimented her smugly as she took the arm he held out for her.

"Shut it."

When they arrived at the Lockwood mansion, Morgan was surprised to see how many guests were there. She hadn't expected Damon to trust her enough to bring her to a place this open and crowded where she could easily slip out right under his nose.

"Alright, Elena has been working on your cover story, so it's very important that you just play along. So no alcohol, you're now seventeen again; congratulations. The two of you were separated at birth and after years of searching you finally found her, here in Mystic Falls." Damon told her as they approached the front doors where the mayor was greeting people.

"Anything else?" Morgan asked simply. Damon stopped walking, making her stop as well seeing as her arm was looped in his.
"Most of these people think that I am a human who hunts vampires, I'm also very well respected and trusted in the council and it will stay like that, so be a darling and behave." Damon stated brushing a strand of hair behind her ear as he held her face looking her directly in the eyes.

Morgan sighed annoyed pulling away from his grasp. "Don't worry, I'll play a good little deaf girl for you." She assured him, sarcasm dripping from her words as she adjusted her hearing aids and tightly gripped her small purse with spite.

"Damon! It's been a while since I last saw you." The mayor greeted him as they got up to the front door. The pair exchanged a kiss on the cheek before Mrs Lockwood turned to Morgan. "—And Elena dear." Morgan smiled politely and shook her head.
