AVANI couldn't take this anymore. I had to find out if she felt the same way about me or not. It was tearing me apart.
She either liked me, or she didn't. Whichever it was, I needed an answer.
These passed few days had been amazing, since I had to spend them with Liz. I wanted more days like these ones.
I headed over to where Liz was standing with Ari, rehearsing their lines for the episode we were about to shoot. But I couldn't care less about filming right now.
"Liz," I said desperately as I stood in front of her, her eyes gazing up at me. "We need to talk."
Ari pursed her lips. "I'll leave you two alone then."
She shot me a warning look before walking away, and I bit my lip anxiously.
"What is it?" Liz asked curiously, and I grabbed her hand, pulling her to the dressing room.
"I need an answer," I pleaded, my hands having a firm grip on her shoulders as I stated into her big blue eyes. "And you have to be honest with me, Liz."
She nodded, and I let out a breath.
"Do you, or do you not, have feelings for me? Tell me the truth."
Her teeth sank into her lower lip as she averted her eyes away from mine, and my chest clenched.
"I understand," I whisper softly before turning away from her, about to walk out the door again.
"Wait." She grabbed my wrist, and I turned back to face her.
"I do have feelings for you," she whispered, my eyes getting lost in here as she stared up at me. "I'm just afraid of getting hurt."
So that was why she never wanted to be anything more than friends.
"I won't hurt you," I promised, cupping her cheek in my hand as she leaned into it, placing her hand over mine. "I just want you to give me a chance. I can't hide my feelings for you anymore. And I am not acting, Liz. I mean it. I want you. Only you."
A small smile graced her lips as she let out a shaky breath, then nodded. "Okay."
The biggest grin I could manage came across my lips. "So you'll give me a chance?"
She smiled brightly, nodding. "I'll give you a chance, Avan."
If even possible my grin became bigger, and I pulled her in for a kiss.
I had finally gotten what I had been wanting for years now, and I was determined not to mess it up.
