Laura's P.O.V
The prank was set. Luckily K knew our little sign language (Jd and I had started it first after the sport competition, but we trusted K and let her into our little secret.) and as soon as she saw us waving like mad men with one foot off the ground, she ran over as fast as she could. And that did it! The invisible string snapped, letting a bucket of gunge fall onto Kaid and Felix. But that wasn't all! Feathers and confetti flew from above and stuck to them like glue- literally. Glue was in the gunge! K, Jacob and I burst out laughing at the sight of them: they looked like half-human-half-baby-chicks!
"JODIE!" Felix shouted and started to stomp over. Kaid followed, his face as red as a tomato. Oh oh. Jacob and I picked Jd up by underneath her arms and K by her feet (we may of given her a bit too much Red Bull...) and ran for it. Crashing through the closed doors of the gym, we ran to the nearest building: the mini classroom. Gunge balls were flying all around us, but the boys didn't have good aim with glue...
"Drop Jd, K!" I shouted and she did, opening the classroom door for us. Jacob and I caught Jd's legs and carried her sitting up style, before all of us accidentally collapsed into a desk. Another crash sounded and suddenly I felt cold and wet.
"Felix!" we all shouted and got up quickly. What he'd done? Broken the fish tank.
"Shhh-"
"Where's the fish!?"
"Felix you-"
"Crapballs! The fish is on the windowsill!"
"How'd it get there!?"
"GET IT!!"
We all dived for the fish. Only, it kinda became more chaos. Kaid and Felix ended up sticking together and then rolling over, knocking over K, Jd and finally Jacob. I let them roll towards the wall, trod on them and grasped the goldfish.
Kaid's P.O.V
The steaming hot water swept over me and I ran my hands through my wet hair. It took us all ages to get the gunge off us all- although Laura seemed to be lucky today, no gunge and a £5 for the fish. That worker was seriously emotional about it... - and it was my turn to go in the shower. Rubbing soap over myself I quickly scrubbed, rinsed and switched the water off before changing into my pj's. Music came from our cabin and I started to hum to 'Simply Amazing by Trey Songs'. And that was when I heard her.
"...she ain't perfect, but she's worth it, every breath I breathe for the life of me, and I know I might not be serving, but she loves me and it's simply amazing!"
I put my ear to the door and heard her finish the chorus. She started to hum the rest of the song and I quietly opened the door to peak through. It was just K in the room, her iPod on, whilst she danced around the room as swiftly as a butterfly. She sang again, making different dance moves, sometimes writing something's down on a piece of paper. As the song finished, she stood in the room, her back facing me, and breathed slowly in and out. Grabbing my shirt, I stepped into the room and hugged her from behind.
"Huh?"
"Hey." I whispered i her ear and turned her around.
"Oh, h-hi!"
"Your getting better at dancing each time I see you, ya'know?"
She blushed and smiled sweetly.
"I'd be better if...if you would dance with me!"
"Oh nonononono!" I exclaimed, my hands up in surrender, "I danced with you last summer!"
"C'mon, please!"
