I decided to ask him anyway.

"I'll do it tomorrow afternoon," I thought to myself out loud, "Then I can know his actual thoughts- Oh god I hope this doesn't do anything to our friendship- Fuck I hate my quirk-" I said as I layed down on my dorm bed, falling asleep with Mirio on my mind.

Your entire life had been ruined by it, every bad thing was caused because of Murphy's law. It's no wonder you grew to hate it.

The next morning, you woke up panicked. Last night's dream involved Mirio- No, two Mirio's…

Two Mirio's stood in front of you, one in a black outfit and one in a Yuuei uniform. You approach the Yuuei one when he turns around, a smile on his face. That same unsettling, creepy smile that he loved to show you now. You backed away one step at a time, when you slam into something. It's the other Mirio.

He had red liquid splattered on his cheek, his eyes look dull and empty, a deep scar through his face. He seemed tired…

But when he smiled, it was warm. He spoke softly in a hoarse voice,

"Hey Y-Y/N- This is kinda weird, isn't it? Seeing me in your dreams like this? Don't worry, I'm not currently Mirio… I haven't heard that name in years- Anyway. Do not ask Mirio to confess tomorrow. That changes his entire life path. That one little fuck up you made makes me happen. He splits. You cause him to go Multiple Personalities. I'm now making you worry. You're still the cause of this. HES INSANE BECAUSE OF YOU!!!"

He bursts into laughter. The most sickening laughter you've ever heard.

"AND I CANT WAIT UNTILL THE DAY I GET TO RIP THAT PRETTY LITTLE BRAIN OUT OF THAT HORRIBLE SKULL OF YOURS!!! AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAAAA!!!!!"
He lunges forward towards you, as if to grab you, but he goes through.

".....I can't do this. I'm so sorry…"

Tears roll down his face. It's the same Mirio, but he looks scared. He's clutching his head, sobbing into his knees. "IM SORRY, Y/N!!! IM SO SORRY!!!-" His sobs grow louder, until his cries are painfully loud.

Then, he screams. Louder than even Hizashi Yamada could muster.

You feel your eardrums begin to bleed.

You make eye contact with him, but he's gone. No one's there with you.

It's a dark, empty room. Screams reverberate around the room.

Darkness. That's all I see. Everywhere around me. It floods the walls and floor, it's empty, cold feeling seeping into my skin. Darkness fills my field of vision and I scream out. I don't want it to consume me again…
Screaming is no use. The dark only muffles my screams more. No one can hear me now.
But then, another sound is heard through this neverending night.

This is so familiar. You've been here before.

"Y/N!! W-wake up-!!!"

You sit straight up, crying harder than you've ever cried before. It's Mirio right next to you.

The sight of him makes you afraid. Very.

"Y-you screamed…" His voice cracks out.

"I'm sorry- Did I wake you up-?" You said, you tried to keep your voice steady.

"No- I had a nightmare… I was watching you and another version of me behind a glass pane- I was explaining something, and it made you look scared- Then I started yelling and screaming, the glass between us shattered in the scream- Then I woke up to another scream, yours-"

"…..That was my dream too." You whispered out, just loud enough for him to hear.

"W-What?! What was the other me saying?!-"

Do you tell him that he goes insane, or do you make up something to keep his sanity?

Route 2: Do not.
