A/N: Yes, hello there, it's me, the Author. So remember when I said I was going to give a double update and never did that? Yes, I do too, and I apologize for that. I got swamped with some back to school stuff, so you get the double update this week. It doesn't completely make up for what I originally said, but I thought I might as well still do it.

The early morning rays of the rising sun coated the expanse of the room, leaving no corner untouched. The lone body on the bed sleeping peacefully, until he started to stir when the light started to cascade over his face. His eyes fluttered open briefly before they closed again, the sunlight hurting his eyes. He rolled over onto his side and opened his eyes again, noticing the ruffled blanket, and the huge empty space where he was almost certain a blonde slept in last night. He stretched for a moment, feeling the satisfying pop of his joints before he turned back over and stared at the ceiling.

He was in a weird spot; not weird in the sense that he was uncomfortable in his current position, but weird in a sense that usually he was the one to leave the other before they woke up. Which was ironic cause nowadays, Tony never would get up early due to always spending time in his lab. Guess he was more tired than he thought he was, but that's what 3 days of no sleep will do to you before you decide you want to hang out with a super soldier and finally get some sleep. But it was weird to be the one left alone in bed this time. He thought he was going to wake up and still see the sleeping form of Steve, his blonde hair all messy due to Tony running his fingers through it, it was a sight to see, and he really wanted to see it, but sadly the blonde isn't here at the moment.

Just then he heard the door to his room open, followed by the scent of food, or more precisely, the scent of fresh cooked bacon. He got a good whiff and he swears it made him stomach grumble and his salivary glands activate. He sat up and his eyebrows got lost somewhere in his hairline. Standing in front of him, after closing the door, was none other than Steve, a plate full of bacon, eggs, a stack of pancakes, and a mug in his other hand.

"What is this?" He asked, confused.

"Breakfast in bed. I got up pretty early to make some food for you. Well, food for everybody, but mostly you." He walked over to the bed and placed the mug down on the nightstand near Tony, handing him the plate which the genius happily took.

"Since when did you learn how to cook?" He stabbed his eggs with his fork, bringing the bits of food to his mouth. He stopped chewing for a second and just savored the taste of the eggs. They were so fluffy, such an amazing texture that caused his mouth to water as he continued to chew, his eyelids fluttered and he let out a satisfying moan. "Holy fuck, this is amazing!"

"Language, and I learned from my mom. I used to help her cook back in the old days. Like I said, taught me everything I know." He smiled as the genius scarfed down his food, picking up the mug a few seconds later, slurping at the fresh coffee he made for him.

"Oh my god, and you got my coffee correct. How did you know how I like my coffee?"

"JARVIS had to help me with that one. Took awhile to figure out the coffee maker since it wasn't my order, but I'm glad I got it right."

"This is the best breakfast I've ever had. Usually I don't even eat anything in the morning, all I need is just coffee and it's off to the lab. You're gonna make me more food in the future, right? I promise to eat it if you make it." He enjoyed the laugh that came out of Steve's mouth, and the way his eyes twinkled due to the sun casting its light on them. God, Steve was too good to him, if only he could show him how much he appreciated him for putting up with his crap.

"I'll make you breakfast whenever I can, if that's ok with you?"

"Perfectly fine. But if I may ask, why did you do this for me?" He wasn't really complaining about the food; how could he even complain about it anyways? The food was divine, it sent his taste buds to heaven with how everything was cooked to perfection. If he was honest he wanted more, and that was speaking volumes inside his head.
