I turned around but didn't see anyone. Mattia walked into the room looking at me confused.

M: What were you looking at?
A: Wtf there was someone in here.
M: Baby- Are you sure?
A: Yes.

I started looking around the room but I didn't see anything. Mattia continued to look through the camera footage and saw a clip of a black van pulling up to the house.

A: Thats the one that passed by the restaurant. I remember the license plate.

Mattia called some of the people from the mafia and they started looking around the state.

?: Do you guys have any more cameras around the house.
M: no that's it.
?: Okay, Well capo we can start getting ready so that when we track them we can just go directly to them.
M: alright, we'll be ready soon.
?: We'll? No just you.

I scoffed and shook my head.

A: Sorry honey but no. Both of us are going, I think you forgot that we're talking about my kids.
?: Yes but women shouldn't be going on missions like these it's dangerous.
A: *laughs* You're fired.
?: You're not my b-
M: She's the queen and she just said you're fired so leave.

Mattia took his gun out and the boy immediately left. I rolled my eyes annoyed and we started getting ready before leaving in our private car.

(Idk how it's private.🦌 it's 3 am so this chapter is probably gonna be all over the place😻)

We got to this musty looking building and the Mafia started going inside. Mattia and I stayed in the car until they told us it was okay for us to go in.

M: Okay you go in through the back door stay close to Dominic.
A: I can go by myself.
M: No Arianna, please just stay close to him.
A: *sighs* fine.
