Mariano pushed me against the wall and I flinched.
Mar: Are you cheating on me? N: No Mariano! Mar: *scoffs* you're fucking lying.
Mariano said walking away from me. I looked down scared and he slapped me.
Mar: do you even love me? N: yes Mariano... Mar: You shouldn't.
He said shaking his head.
Mar: If you're not cheating on me then why are people saying you are?! N: I don't know... Mar: You're just a stupid girl.
I looked down as Mariano continued to yell at me.
Mar: Okay whatever I don't care anymore. N: But Maria- Mar: Shut up Naveah! Get the fuck out.
Tears started filling my eyes and I nodded slowly before leaving his house.
I ran to Khoku's house so that my mom wouldn't see me crying.
K: what's wrong princess? N: Mariano started arguing with me again... K: *sighs* he's such a bitch. Come here.
I wiped my tears away and hugged him tightly.
K: what did he say this time? N: That I'm just a stupid girl... K: You're not stupid Naveah, you're such a smart, beautiful girl princess. I don't know why you're still with him, he's so fucking annoying.
I giggled and he smiled patting my back softly.
N: Khoku. K: yes? N: I love you.
He stayed quiet for a bit and smiled softly.
K: i love you too Naveah.
I smiled and hugged him tighter.
Khoku has been my bestfriend since 6th grade. Everytime we had a bad day we would comfort each other and watch a movie at his or my house.
We stopped doing that a few years ago because we were happy for once but then I started dating Mariano and everything went downhill.
Khoku was always there for me when I needed him and honestly I don't know how he hasn't gotten annoyed by me.
N: thank you for everything Khoku... K: it's okay beautiful, you deserve everything in the world my love.
He said kissing my forehead softly.
K: Let's go watch a movie. N: *giggles* okay.
