chapter 25

Samiksha's POV

Everyone sat still as they watched the performance of karan and I, we were both dancing and singing on the stage. We finished with our performance and everyone clapped for us.

I was on cloud nine, i was so happy that Karan had proposed to me, that too in the presence of everyone present at the party.

After the party, i was surrounded by people who wanted to take a picture with me or an autograph, the media also bebayed me trying to ask me questions. karan also happen to be in the same situation as me.

Getting a phone call, i excused myself to attend the call, i managed to squeeze myself amongst the crowd to receive the call outside.

"hello?" i said into the phone.

"hello" i said again when I couldn't hear anything at the other end.

I hung up and decided to go back inside to the party.

As I headed back to the party, a pair of hands grabbed me from behind, scared, i screamed but my voice was muffled because another hand covered my mouth muffling my screams.

Sensing danger, i began to throw my hands and legs trying to free my self from the strong grip of the unknown person holding me.

Throwing my hands and legs was all in vain, instead of freeing myself, the grip of the person holding me became tighter and i was soon dragged, everywhere was dark so i could not see where I was being dragged.

Still kicking my legs, i tried to scream but it was in vain, my legs were now carried by someone else.

Still struggling to get free, i bit the hand covering my mouth by mistake.

"Ahhh! She bit my hand." the man i bit yelped in pain. The others holding me dropped me on the ground as they examined his hand. Seeing that as an opportunity, i got up from the floor and ran as fast as I could.

"oye! She's running away!" i heard one of the men say and I ran faster, i don't know who these people are and why they are after me, all I know is I have to save myself and go back to my family.

I kept on running and didn't stop, i am already getting tired and i need to rest, fatigue has already taken over me, it was pretty much dark, worst still, the moon refused to come out, making everywhere pitch black.

I remembered i still had my phone with me, a small smile appeared on my face. Finally I can call someone to help me. I immediately dialed Karan's phone number and called him,  he picked up the call in two rings.

"Karan, please help me some men are trying to kidnap me, i don't know who they are, why they want to catch me and what they want from me, please help me i am very scared." i said all at once without pausing for a moment.

"Hello! Hello!! Samiksha i can't hear you" karan said. I knew he was still at the party because i could hear loud music playing. I hung up and decided to try someone else.

Pankhuri.

i dialed her number, before I could call her, a stray dog came in front of me barking at me, therefore altering the kidnappers and they spotted me.

I again took to my heels, but this time around I was slow, and the kidnappers were catching up to me, i was still running when I felt a sharp pain on my head, i turned around to see one of the kidnappers with a rod in his hand.

"why did you hit her, boss said we should bring her without a scratch on her" i could hear them argue before I felt every thing around me spin.

All i could think of as my eyes closed was the smiling face of, pankhuri, karan, mumma, Papa, sasu maa (mother in law), bhabhi (sister in law) and barkha.

I am finally back, i missed updating this story, i have gotten so much attached to it, i now love samiksha and Karan more than before.

Who is trying to kidnap samiksha?? What do they want from her?? Why is she being kidnapped??

All these questions will be answered in the next update.
