Jamal's POV
I haven't heard from Lyrik since I dropped her off that night. I've been thinking that I should shoot her a message or something, but maybe she just doesn't want to talk to me. I won't stress about it, and it's not like we're together. I really don't give a fuck what she does. I mean damn.
Lyrik's POV
I haven't talked to Jamal since Wednesday night, so maybe he doesn't wanna talk.
None of that even matters now. Alana is here for the weekend and she really wants to have this girls time. Even though I'm not up for it, I'm still going to try to have fun.
"So what's been up with you?" Lana asked. I hesitated, " I've just been chillin," I started, "well I did go out on Wednesday afternoon. " she nodded her head and then looked at me with confusion. "Wait a minute," she pauses, " alone? You haven't been goin out! Everytime I ask its a no!" She yelled jokingly. I put my head down and shoved a chip in my mouth. "You didn't go alone," she gasped, " you went with some body...a boy!" I smiled and looked at the TV. "Who was it?" I took a sip of my water and prepared for the worst. "Jamal." Her eyes bugged out of her head once again. "Henderson?" She yelled. "Tell me everything because clearly I've missed a lot." And that's exactly what I did.
I can't lie, I did enjoy the girls weekend. I enjoyed not doing anything , but girl stuff, eating, sleeping, and taking showers. Separate of course.
The house wasn't too bad after Alana left, but I decided to clean up and take a shower. After my bathroom routine, I went to sleep.
Friday morning...
Today is the day my mom goes on her 10 day cruise to the Bahamas. While my mom is gone, my little sister will be over our GMa's house and the oldest went back to college life. The whole house was going to be in peace in quiet.
"Now remember to keep my house in order," she started. "Yes mom." "If you want, from time to time, you can hang with Lana." "Yes mom." "If you don't feel comfortable stayin home by yourself, pack stuff to go over there." I nodded my head. "And make sure---" "I know. I got it mommy. You left a note, or should I say handbook." We both laughed and sooner rather than later she was on her way.
I locked up the house and went upstairs to take a shower.
Right before I was getting ready to get out, I think I might've heard someone knocking on the door.
I grabbed my towel for my body and the towel for my hair then headed downstairs...
Jamal's POV
I had been knocking on the door for a couple of minutes now, but I think I heard someone coming. The Range wasn't parked in the driveway, so her mom must be gone somewhere. While I was lost in my thoughts, I heard the door open. When I looked towards the door, I saw Lyrik in nothing but a purple towel wrapped around her body and one around her head. She gasped once she saw me and slammed the door shut. Well then...
A few seconds later she opened the door still in the towels and told me to come in. I walked in and avoided eye contact. "You can um, " I said nervously, " get dressed. I'll wait down here." She rushed upstairs . Whew, the girl got me all discombobulated and shit. I ain't even see anything, yet I'm all hot and bothered.
After about 20 minutes she came bcak down stairs, slowly. She was dressed in a high-low skirt with a white crop top and sandles. Her was in a bun thingy again and she looked hella good.
"Want something to drink?" She asked waking me from my thoughts. "Nah I'm okay." I lied. I needed to quench my thirst from seeing her basically naked and how she looks now. She grabbed some keys with what looked like a gym bag on her shoulders and signaled me to go outside.
