Karasuno Highschool

After coming back from the training camp. Karasuno's boy's volleyball team get ready since they only have few weeks left to prepare for the incoming Interhigh Prelims this summer.

"Since then, we've been practicing hard, the day we loose the match last year. " Sudou said, the third years were telling what happened last year as all of them walk towards the gym, "...so let's win the tournament and go to the Nationals! "

"Oh... " the first years nods in understanding their Club's past and dreams...

"By the way the other first years are here! " Manami Aoki said,

"We have new members? " (Y/n) asked,

"Oh right, (Y/n) doesn't know them. " Futaba said, "They're cousins and they're both out of town three days before you joined the club. "

"Oh..."

When they reached the door, the heard a ball bouncing against the floor. They looked at each other then go inside.

"You're finally here! " Nozomi Watabe said, the two first years with black hair looked at their direction and one of them greeted, "What's up?! I heard that we have a new member!"

The girl, who have dark blue hair, then looked at (Y/n), "It's you right? Welcome to the club!"

"Y-yes, thank you. " (Y/n) stuttered as the girl with dark red streaks in hair, observed her, "Um, what's your name? "

The other club members continued and go in the gym to change shoes and warm up while (Y/n) and the two first years walk closer at her.

"Look, you've been talking to her without introducing yourself. " the girl said to her cousin, "I'm Rei Sakurai, I'm a setter. " Rei, with dark blue streak hair, said.

"I'm Rai Sakurai! But you can call me mine-" Rei slap her from the back of her head and said, "Sorry about that, don't mind this flirt. She hits on everyone. "

"Yeah right, unlike you who doesn't even have anyone you like since birth-" Rai answered back.

"Bitch, I will tell aunt you watch rated stuff. Try me-" the two started bickering and was stopped by their captain who shouted, "STOP AND PREPARE ALREADY! "

"Oh, then let's go. " Rei said and walk, as if nothing happened. Rai on the other hand, run to where the others are and started warming up.

"You're (Y/n) right? We're in the same class. " Rei, the one with blue streaks, said.

"Really-?!" she looked at Rei with a surprised face, "Wait, so are you the one who sit in front of me who's been absent for days.. "

"Ahaha, yes. " she answered, "I'm always using my phone so I don't talk that much. But I remember listening to you guys at the first day. We're quite a lot there, though only the three of you really talk." (1)

(Y/n) face palmed, "Sorry about that, "

"It's alright, I also don't remember some of our classmates. " she said and laugh. (Y/n) then put on her shoes and started warming up with the others.

"It's here!" their manager, Kiyomizu Ren shouted after getting in the gym with two paperbags in both of her hands.

"What's that? " (Y/n) asked, as she get closer.

"Finally! " Rai said and rushes. Kiyomizu Ren opened the box and revealed the first year's jersey.

"Oh! The jersey! " (Y/n) said when she remembered that they take her measurements for the jersey.

"I wanna check it out! Please! "

"Fine..."

"Yes! "

Kiyomizu Ren then handed the jersey to (Y/n). She get it out of the plastic and held it out, seeing the black jersey with white details and number 11 in the middle.

"What's your jersey number?! " Rai asked as they check out their jerseys.

"Mine's number 5, " Oba Ichika said as she looked at the jersey.

"I'm 8!!"

"Number 6 here,"

"Alright, listen here!" their captain speak up, "We're going to have a match later so start warming up! They're going to be here so put your jerseys aside first. After that, our starting line up will be decided!"

"Woah, really?!"

"Omg, this is making me nervous.."

"Who's the opponents?" Oba asked, their captain looked at her and smiled, "You'll see."

As all of them take their time to warm up, their gym's door opened and a light brown haired girl walks in, wearing a black tracksuit, holding a notebook in her hands, "Hello, pardon the intrusion! Is your captain here?" she said.

(Y/n) who's the nearest from the door greeted, "Hello, yes, Captain is here. "(Y/n) continued, "Captain! Someone's looking for you! "

"Yes? " Sudou looked at them, "Oh right! Come in! "

"Coach is coming," she said, "My name's Miyamura Naomi, an assistant manager. "

"Oh... then where's the other-" (Y/n) looked at the door when someone came in, "Alright, alright! Are you ready?"

"C-coach Ukai? " (Y/n) asked as she looked at the blonde haired male, the said Coach looked at her direction, "Oh you're that one who always watch the practice. "

'It's kinda weird to not be called by name, ' (Y/n) thought and just smiled, "Yes, I'm (L/n) (Y/n). "

"Hm okay then, (L/n) and everyone, let's first see your abilities." Ukai said,

"I'm Keishin Ukai, the Karasuno boys' volleyball coach. I heard about the teacher who handles your club and Takeda that you don't have a coach. " he said,

"I already talked to your captain." he continued,"Later, you will have a match against the boys and we'll decide who's going to be in the starting line of the game. "

"Yes! "

"Well then... " Ukai then hold a volley ball in his hands, "Let's test your receives first. "

Note|
1) Y'all remember when they talk? People around (Y/n)'s seat surrounded while the three of them talk.

Author| Okay, you probably noticed. Rai is a bisexual while Rei is an asexual :D
