A lot of days passed by and Karasuno's volleyball team set off to fight in the Interhigh qualifying rounds. Of course, the girl's volleyball team goes too.

"Is there anything else you need to take care of? " the woman with short black hair asked.

"Everything's done, Ono-sensei! "

"Hmm, good. Then, let's catch up with the others! " the woman turned around to look at them and smiled.  Minaho Ono is the new teacher who will supervise the girl's volleyball club. She has experience in volleyball since she played it before. (1)

Sendai City Gymnasium
June 2013 | Interhigh

Girls wearing blue tracksuits walk towards the gymnasium. Busy people who are already in the gym glanced at the newcomers. Some people there are waiting or talking outside and some are looking at the bracket.

Of course, in an event like this, people who are always talking about the teams of every people that they see are everywhere. When they saw the girls of Karasuno, they immediately talk in low voice.

"They're Karasuno, right? "
"Yeah, I heard their boy's team are really good. "
"Then how about them? "
"Er, they don't perform well last year."

As the talk continues, some eyes were focusing on them. Karasuno... when they heard that name, they will immediately think of the boy's team. Then, how about the girl's team? Are they good too? Will they fight us? Will they be the same as last year? Those thoughts swirled in their minds.

Karasuno's girl's team didn't give a good impression last year. They were defeated too easily and their team before barely have any players that they didn't have anyone to switch in for them. But they did notice the increase in players, maybe it is because of the news that Karasuno entered the nationals last year? They do not know.

"They're looking at me..! " Rai said in a whisper-like high voice.

"I don't think so. "

"Hey, are you okay? " their libero, Nozome, asked (Y/n) who's being left behind because she walks slower.

"Yes, yes, I'm okay. It's just that... I didn't expect to be walking in a gym for a tournament again. " (Y/n) said happily. Nozome patted her back and pushed her lightly, "Then, let's go! Gotta walk faster to stretch early! "

They headed towards the bracket to see who they are fighting against. "So... Who are we.. ? " Minaho, their teacher and coach, trailed as she looks for the Karasuno's name.

"Oh, we're going against Shirato. " Minaho said,

"...Shirato? " the captain asked once again and looked at the list.

"We're also up against Shirato last year... " Rinko said, "I've never fought with the same team consecutively at the first game. "

"Oh, what a coincidence!" Rei exclaimed, "Let's win it this time! "

"Yeah, let's win it! " Manami said,

They all walk again to enter the building. Colorful tracksuits are everywhere and most of the chairs are occupied. When they reached a corner without many people, they dropped their bags on the floor and fixed themselves.
