"T-thank you for the food! " all of them said as they sat on the chair around the table to eat.

Because (Y/n)'s family are only composed of three people, the table's pretty small for all eight people. (Y/n)'s parents let them have the table and prepared additional chairs while the two sat on a stool and eat on the kitchen island.

(Y/n) looked at them as they started to eat and looked at her plate, "Mmh! Wow... Murff... Thish ish good! " Hinata said as he eat.

"Atleast swallow your food. (Y/n)'s parents are here. " Tsukishima deadpanned, All of them laugh as Hinata swallowed the food in his mouth.

"So, how's school everyone? " (Y/n)'s mother asked, the second years replied politely, "How about you, (Y/n)?"

"Oh, um, I'm doing fine! " (Y/n) answered truthfully, "Everyone's nice and I can handle the school works! "

"That's good, "

All of them continue and occasionally talks. All of them mainly talks about volleyball. (Y/n)'s parents sometimes talk but they let their daughter's guest to converse.

"Wait, so you're the vice captain in your second year? " Hinata asked,

Kageyama and Hinata keep on asking her about her junior highschool days. Tsukishima, Yamaguchi and Yachi listen and sometimes ask her questions too.

"Um, yes–"

"Cool! " Hinata exclaimed,  Kageyama followed a question, "Then how about your third year? Are you the captain? "

"O-oh, " (Y/n) looked away and giggled, "I stopped playing since my third year in junior highschool..."

Tsukishima raised a brow and take a glance at (Y/n). He swallowed the food in his mouth and talk before Kageyama and Hinata could ask more, "People are busy with studies, unlike you, not everyone can focus in club activities. "

"No wonder, the king didn't pass the entrance exam for Shiratorizawa, pft! " Tsukishima continued,

"Hahaha! Right! " Yamaguchi followed, Kageyama and Hinata started fuming and was about to bicker but Yachi stopped them.

"How did you know each other? You're all second years, right? " (M/n) asked,

"(Y/n) always watch the Club's practice, that's why everyone in the club knows her! " Yachi told them, (Y/n) scratched her cheek and laughed awkwardly when her parents look at her.

"So all of you are in a volleyball club? What's your position? " (Y/n)'s father asked, (Y/n) goanced at her parents and back in front of her.

"Yes! " Hinata answered, "I'm a middle blocker and the decoy! "

"Oh, that's nice! " Her mother replied, "How about the others? "

"I'm a setter! " Kageyama said,

"I-I'm a pinch server!" Yamaguchi said,

They all looked at Tsukishima who's eating quietly, he noticed their gaze and looked up, "Oh, I'm just the middle blocker. " he said, "It's nothing flashy like the others."

Yamaguchi looked at his bestfriend, "Tsukishima blocked Ushijima! That's an accomplishment! " he boasted,

"Shut up, Yamaguchi. " Tsukishima whispered as he held his head.

"Hehe, sorry Tsukki. "

"Ushijima? That's familiar... " (Y/n) said,

"JAPAN! JAPAN! " Hinata shouted, Kageyama blocked his mouth with a hand because he was being so loud. (Y/n)'s parents just laughed at the short boy.

"Right! Ushijima! " (Y/n) finally remembered, "One of the top 3 aces in japan  Ushijima Wakatoshi? "

"Yeah! He's blocked by... t-that four eyes and we made it to the nationals." Kageyama said as he glared at Tsukishima.

"Nationals? Wow! " (Y/n) exclaimed, they also tell her their matches and (Y/n) eagerly listen. She was happy hearing their story although, a few seconds later, she stopped and looked down on her food.

"Why? " Yachi, who's beside her, asked.

"Oh, nothing! " (Y/n) said, they all looked at her and asked her again. She didn't answer them and just smiled.

Her parents whispered to each other as their daughter talk to her friends. Her mother stand up and go to the refrigerator, after taking something, she walk to the table and put down a whole cake.

"Oh! " all of them eyed the cake placed in the middle of the table.

"Your father brought this strawberry shortcake earlier for you. Since your friends are here, why don't you share it with them? "

"Um, do you play volleyball too? " Hinata asked (Y/n)'s father,

"No, " he answered, "(Y/n)'s the only one who plays volleyball in the family. "

"Oh..."

"Then, how about you Yachi? You're also in the girl's volleyball club? " (M/n) asked,

"Oh! Um, I'm not a volleyball player... I'm the boy's volleyball club's manager. " Yachi said, "(Y/n) is the me–"

"—Ahaha! Mom, eat your slice too! "

"Thanks, " Tsukishima steal some cake from Hinata and Yamaguchi then eat it. Hinata noticed it and glared at Tsukishima, "You–!"

"You already ate yours! Stop stealing mine! "

"Hey, Yamaguchi, can you hear something? "

"No, " Yamaguchi ride along, which makes Hinata more fired up, "He stole yours too! Why are you siding with him?!"

(Y/n) sit back, once again, after giving her parents some cake. The table was in chaos, while Yachi, Yamaguchi stopped Hinata. Kageyama continue talking about volleyball.

"(L/n), why did you stop on your third year junior high? You're a good player, I saw how you play." Kageyama asked, (Y/n) looked at him.

"Ahaha, thanks... Um, it's just some small issue, nothing to worry about. "

"Well, at least you joined again thi– " Kageyama stated.

"–You guys have a match in the nationals right?! That's really cool! I've never been to nationals before! " (Y/n) said, louder than usual

Tsukishima looked at the scene in front of him and quietly watch.

"Can you repeat that again? " (F/n) asked, Kageyama, who's confused, still answered, "Uh (Y/n) joined the club again this year..? "

"Oh, right... " Yamaguchi continued, "We actually came here because (Y/n) forgot her phone and j–"

"Jersey! " Hinata said,

"..." Yachi's eyes followed (Y/n) when she stand up from her seat, "I'm going to the bathroom, please excuse me " she said while smiling.
