"MISS Natasha!" Everybody was yelling for her name. We found her. Nasa gitna siya ng dagat. Anong ginagawa n'ya diyan?

What's wrong with her? Is she stupid? She should have swim to the seaside. Bakit kailangan n'ya pang mag-stay diyan at pag-aalalahanin ang mga tao?

"I think we worry for nothing. I've to go." I said blandly. Umalis na ako.

"Hindi, Sir. Hindi marunong lumangoy si Ma'am." Pahabol ng manager.

I stop on my tracks. "What?" Nilingon ko siya. "Then how come she manage to go in the middle of the sea?"

"Ebb kahapon, Sir. Naabutan siguro ng high tide si Ma'am."

"La connerie!" I cursed under my breath. "Then what are you waiting for? Make some actions to save her!" I hissed. Nakatayo lang kasi sila at walang ginagawa.

Though I'm quite annoyed with Natasha because she making me appear like an unfaithful asshole. I can't let her die when I know I can do something to save her. Ikakasal na ako yet she's making me want her. Para siyang si Eba na tinutukso si Adan na kumain ng ipinagbabawal na bunga. Or perhaps a siren, tempting a credulous fisherman.

Hindi na ako nag-isip. I remove my polo top and plunge into the water. I heard them calling my name but I did not listen.

The water was deep. Para siyang may optical illusion, sa una mababaw pero as you go further para kang nahulog sa cliff dahil sa lalim ng tubig at hindi pantay na seafloor.

Nangmakarating ako malapit sa kanya ay hindi kaagad ako lumapit. I distance myself. I called her attention.

"Nat!"

"Wayne?" She eyed me. Examining if I'm real or just an illusion. Her eyes were bloodshot. It's maybe because of the saltwater or she cried for God knows how long. "Wayne!" She became restless.

A huge wave hit us. Lumubog ako. And from the bottom, I can see her keep jumping from a large stone to avoid submerging.

Nang makaahon hinilamos ko ang isang kamay sa mukha. "Calm down!" I yelled. "I'll come near you but you have to calm down or else we will both get drowned. Understood?"

"Yes! Goddamn it! Just come here!" She yelled back.

"Stay still." Sa ilalim na ako ng tubig dumaan para hindi n'ya makita kung saan ako aahon. When I know I could already stand at the same stone as she is saka pa lang ako umahon.

She immediately jump on me. Nagulat ako at mabuti na lang at firm and well-settled ang pagkakatayo ko kaya hindi kami parehong natumba sa tubig.

She wrapped her legs on my waist. She sobbed. Hinayaan ko lang siya. Well, I don't know how to react. It's my first time to save a person's life firsthand.

"You're going to be alright." I rub her back gently.

"I thought I was going to die." She cried.

"Hush. I'm here now." I pacify her.

"Wayne?" She look at me.

"Hmm?"

"I hate you that you're the one who I am indebted with my life. And thank you for saving me." I can see all the glimmering sincerity on her eyes that leave me wondering of all whys.

Wala akong matandaan na ginawang masama sa kanya. And besides, we just met recently.

"Where that hate coming from, Natasha?" I'm intrigued.
