Seven

My last mission... 

I split up with my comrades on purpose to get Sasori to chase me and that's what caused their deaths. I wanted to alone with Sasori so bad I killed my comrades. It wasn't even worth it because he isn't anything like I imagined. I imagined him to be a sweet, kind, caring guy but instead I get an abusive psychopath. I'm so stupid maybe I should've just stayed I wouldn't be in trouble if I did. Or would I, he probably thinks that I got them to come get me. 

I sigh and walk back to my house when I get inside I shower and change into my pajamas for the night. I get into bed and as I'm about to fall asleep I hear something "Yay Tobi did it, Tobi is a good boy right?" I get out of bed to see a masked man and a red head in my room. Before I can do anything the masked man grabs me and teleport me to an apartment I've never seen before. The masked man leaves and brings back the redhead, the redhead tries to approach me but I keep walking backwards to widen the gap between us.

"Who are you and what do you want?" I say to the redhead

"Did you forget about me already you've been all I can think about...AND YOU FORGOT ABOUT ME?!?! The redhead grabs me by throat and knocks me against a wall. He tightens his grip around my neck. The room was starting to get dark and I thought I was going to black out but the redhead let go of me. I drop down to the floor gasping for air while the redhead walks away from and sits on a couch.

"It's me Sasori, you couldn't tell"

"No I've only ever seen you in your puppet"

"Your right"

"So you found me, what're you going to do to me now"

"I just want to talk"

"About?"

"Why did you leave me"

"Kinda was just instinct you know I saw an opportunity and I took it"

"So you didn't contact them to come rescue you?"

"No there's no way I could've done it, most of my summons require water to go anywhere plus the only one that could've possibly made the trip was too terrified to go."

"Aasuki huh"

"Wait how'd you know that"

"Lucky guess..."

"Lies that name is one I made up for him"

"I just guessed"

"No you didn't, look I know you've been watching me okay"

"How"

"You walk around in a giant puppet plus I could sense your presence"

"If you knew all this time why didn't you do something or tell somebody"

" And risk you possibly killing me I'd admit it was creepy from time to time but I didn't really mind it" 

"Why didn't you mind it?" Sasori got up from the couch and walked toward me.

"Uh...n-no reason" Crap I stuttered he's not gonna let it go now I thought to myself.

"Doesn't sound like nothing..." Sasori grabbed my chin forcing me to look at him. "Go On you can tell me anything."

"I wanna ask you something first" I got a good look at his face and he was really cute...wait what am I thinking.

"What" he said bored.

"Why are you so interested in me?" I looked straight into his chocolate brown eyes. I could feel the heat rising to my cheeks as I asked the redhead the question.

He let go of my face continuing to stare at me and said "I don't know..." he turned away from me and stood up with his back facing me. "Anyway back to my question" he said in a monotone voice.

"It's nothing I swear" I said looking back to the floor.

Sasori turned his head to me causing me to look up seeing the rage written all over his face. Before he could do anything, I threw my kunai into a nearby bedroom I used my flying raijin to get to the room and lock the door. Sasori ran to the locked door and started banging on it and trying to get it open. 

"OPEN THE DOOR NOW" He yelled at me through the door, banging on it.

"Not until you calm down first"

"I AM CALM"

"You're yelling and banging the door that doesn't seem calm to me"

"Fine I'll calm down but open the door okay"

"Sure when I know for sure you're calm" Sasori sat with his back on the door.

"Look I'm sorry but you shouldn't make me wait"

"What are you talking about"

"You made me wait too long for an answer, I hate waiting and I hate to keep people waiting"

"Why"

"When I was a kid, my parents went to fight in the war leaving me with my grandmother, I spent most of my childhood waiting for them to return but they never did."

"I'm sorry Sasori"

"It doesn't matter now...just don't keep me waiting alright"

"I'll try not to"

"Can you open the door now?"

"I'll open the door soon"

"Why not now?"

"I said soon"

"You're pushing it"

"We both know you could break down the door if you really wanted to"

"I almost did just now"

"I know but why didn't you"
