Twenty Two

The hideout door opens, Guy and Kakashi were the first to enter.
"(Y/N) are you there?" Guy yells throughout the hideout. Sasori and Deidara took me through the back exit but were stopped by a giant metallic ball.
"Ten ten" I look at the ball instantly knowing it's her.
"The one and only," Tenten opens a scroll unleashing thousands of ninja tools in our direction, Sasori pushes me out of the way and summons a puppet to take the damage. Deidara puts his hands into his pouch but is instantly stopped by Neji, Lee picks me up bridal style and jumps into the trees with me, Neji and Tenten follow.
"Sensei why didn't you tell us back in the city that you were held by the Akatsuki?" Tenten asks with worried eyes.
"If I did that, I'm sure you guys would have been hurt and that's the last thing I want."
"Seriously, people were starting to think you went rogue until I said something" Neji said rolling his eyes.
"Yeah, how'd you know about that?"
"After we left, I used my byakugan to see what you'd do. Someone approached you and you two stood there for a while signalling you knew this person."
"That's creepy Neji" I said shivering at the thought that he was watching me.
Neji sighs "I practically saved your life and you call me creepy" I giggled at Neji's statement.
"I missed you guys so much" I say with a smile, the three smile back at means Tenten says "We missed you too Sensei, I can't wait to show you all the weapons I've collected."
"And I've improved on my Taijustu skills," Lee chimes in and Tenten continues "And Neji has an ultimate defence" I giggle at the two as Neji sighs.
"I can't wait to see them all guys" I've always had a close relationship with these 3, I helped Tenten with her weapon summonings, I helped Lee with his self confidence when he was younger and Neji didn't need me much but I helped practice his trigrams. As we were escaping, I was snatched out of Neji's arms by a puppet.
"I did say I wouldn't let you take her" Sasori said outside his giant puppet.
"I hope you said goodbye (Y/N), because you won't see them again"
"Sasori, no!" I screamed at the top of my lungs but it was too late, Tenten had already been poisoned. "N-no, Tenten" tears welled up in my eyes as Neji held Tenten in his arms. As I tried to escape the puppet's grip, Lee sprang into action "Leaf Hurricane" he shouted as a wall of puppets guards Sasori. I take a kunai out of my pant leg and stab the puppet's arms socket, forcing it to let me go. I run over to Tenten and Neji then I summon Hina, a herbal expert and a rabbit. Luckily she has exactly what Tenten needs, Neji puts Tenten in my arms as me goes over to help Lee take down Sasori. As Tenten is being healed, I smell smoke nearby I think to myself shit if Deidara gets here they're going to be in a lot more trouble.
"(Y/N), she's going to be just fine but she'll be out for a while. Please be careful with her, it seems these poisons are quite rare and I don't think I'll have an antidote for the next one."
"Thank you so much Hina and I will"
"It was no problem, I'm heading back now" Hina goes back and hold Tenten in my arms. I used my left hand to summon the Monkey King. He looks at me annoyed, "you were eating huh?"
"I was about to until you summoned me human" The Monkey King Said looking away from me.
"How about I treat you later? Just think all the bananas you could ever want"
"What do you want human?" I get on the Monkey King's back with Tenten. "Take us over there," I point in the direction of the hideout. "If what I heard is right Sakura is a medical ninja she could monitor Tenten."
"Are you sure you just don't want to make sure the redhead is dead?"
"Your highness please, Tenten is my priority right now. I'm the one that taught her everything about summons, she like a daughter to me please. She's flaring up again"
"Hang on tight then" The Monkey King rushes us to Sakura's side. When we get there I notice Sakura taking on Deidara on her own. I felt so proud of her for hold her own against someone so powerful.
"I see you've snuck past Sasori. I knew his stupid puppets were inferior to my art" Deidara says with a smile, Sakura rushes over to us.
"What happened?"
"It's Tenten she's been poisoned, I got her treated for a bit but it doesn't seem to be working."
"Don't worry I'll help her" Sakura says with a smile.
"And I'll take care of Deidara" I say looking at him as he creates clay animals.
