chapter 8

eight

Samanthas POV

i heard JJ and spencer taking and i could hear in his tone that he wasn't happy. i didn't want him to be unhappy with me. i just stayed in my room and started to unpack. i put all my underwear and socks in one drawer and i put my other undergarments in a smaller drawer. i put all my pants in 2 drawers. 1 had leggings and the other had jeans and sweats. i hung my shirts on my closet so that they didn't get wrinkled.

after i was done putting all my clothing away, i started to get a few of the special items i brought. i put them all around my room in places that i could see them.

i then attempted to put my duvet on the cover on my own, but it didn't end well, i tried showing it in while i was standing and it sprung back out and knocked my off my feet. i feel on my butt and not my back, luckily.

i heard frantic footsteps and spencer asking if i was okay. before i could respond, he had opened the door and was looking at me.

"i'm sorry, i wanted to try do this on my own but it didn't work" i said as i looked it the floor.

"don't be sorry," spencer said as he crouched down next to me, "let me help you"

you both stood up and spencer ended up putting the duvet in on his own. you thanked him and he helped you drape it over your mattress.

after you were all done unpacking and your room was somewhat we decorated, spencer called you to the living room.

"samantha, can you come here please?" he said

"i'm here" i said as i walked out fo my room.

"grab your phone"

i nodded and went to grab it from the bag in my room. i hadn't touched it since we got back.

i handed it to him and sat next to him on the couch. he took it out of the small box and turned it on. he set the whole phone up and it was ready for me to use in minutes!

"let me text you," spencer said, handing me my phone.

after around 30 seconds, i got a text from spencer. i added his number to my contacts and texted him back. he then told me the numbers of everyone on the team so i had them incase.

as i went to thank spencer again, i got a call. it said 'no caller id'.
