Nineteen

Spencers POV

I got in my car after I saw Maxine leave, my cheek still feeling tingly after her kiss.

Before I started to drive away, I texted Samantha. It was around 9:00 so I assumed she'd still be up.

Spencer: I should be home in 45 minutes.

Samantha: okay, see you then ;)

And that was it. I started to drive home.

Samanthas POV

I had finished my dinner and I was watching TV when I got a text from spencer.

Spencer: I should be home in 45 minutes.

Samantha: okay, see you then ;)

I knew he would be home in exactly 45 minutes. He was never off with his times. I turned the TV off and went to get ready for a shower.

As I was about to turn the shower on, someone knocked at the door. I walked to the door and looked through the peep whole. It was a delivery man.

I opened the door to take the package.

"Hi, are you Samantha Black?" The man asked me.

"Yes I am"

"Great"

He pulled out a large black stick and hit me over the head with it.

All I could see - was black.

I regained consciousness again and i was in a dim room. I was strapped down to a metal chair that was so cold, it felt like it was burning my skin. My head was strapped in place so I couldn't see my feet. I tried to kick them up, but the straps cut my ankles as I did so.

I winced in pain and I saw a man walking towards me. He had a big grin on his face as he walked over to me.

"You aren't trying to escape are you?" he asked. He bet over so that he was level with me and i didnt say anything.
"What, cat got your tongue?" he said as he walked away, chuckling. I could feel warm tears streaming down my face.

"Who are you?" I spat out.

"Who am I? Oh, well I was a friend of your daddy's. And he did me very wrong"

"I'm nothing like my father"

"That's what you think, sweetheart"

Spencer's POV

I parked my car at my apartment building and started up to my apartment.

As I neared the door, I could see that it was open.

I slowly walked towards it. I kicked it in as I made it. I didn't have my gun so I held my hands out in fists.

There was nothing there. The TV was off, the couch near. It looked like Samantha had just cleaned up. Except, she wasn't here.

I checked the whole apartment and there was no sign of her. I walked back to the door and I saw a splatter of blood on the floor.
