CHAPTER VEINTE CUATRO

"Guys when is
Vincent going to
get here?" I
question everyone
as we wait for him
to arrive at his
birthday party.

"He said he'll be
here in like 5
minutes." Sophia
answers.

It isn't a surprise
birthday or
anything we just
wanted to
celebrate big 18.

The party is kind
of "crowded" but
it's a vibe. I invited
pretty much the
whole hype house
and sway because
we are all kind of
friends with them.

I'm also making a
cute little video of
the birthday party
for my youtube.
I'm that one
annoying bitch
who always
needs content.

"Heyyy." Charli
says as she walks
over to me trying
to start a
conversation.

"Hi, whats up?" I
reply with a small
awkward smile
having no clue
what to talk about.

"Well nothing
much, you guys
did a good job with
the party though."
Charli compliments.

"Thank you, it was
low key stressful."
I chuckle before
continuing, "be right
back I see my sister."

I walk over to the
door to greet my
sister and Eric
since I'm kind of
the host.

"Bruh why'd you
bring your whole
ass baby?" I
question Eric
shaking my head.

"Mind your
business, I can't
leave her in the
car even if I'm
leaving in a few."
Eric chuckles.

I roll my eyes
before going back
to Charli who now
was talking to
Addison.

I still remember
when Vincent
had a crush on
Addison. And now
that I think about it,
it was a bad idea
inviting her
because of Sophia
and Vince.

"Birthday boy is
finally here!" I hear
Sophia exclaim,
hugging her
boyfriend.

Everyone slowly
goes over to say
hi and happy
birthday to Vincent
after he arrived.

"You're lucky I
didn't throw you
a surprise party."
I chuckle while
Vincent and I sit
down on the
couch.

"I highkey thought
y'all were still going
to do that cliche
pop out of hiding
spot birthday shit"
Vincent laughs.

"Sophia tried you
convince me into
implementing it
but I know you
hate that stuff."
I reply with a
shrug.

The party was
going good until
the cops pulled
up on a noise
complaint.

We weren't even
blasting music
like a high school
house party or
being rude and
disrespectful.

"Damn this turned
out to be a bust."
I chuckle
disappointedly
with a frown.

"Just because
the party ended
doesn't mean we
all have to go
home." Vincent
states with a shrug.

"He right, and
most of the party
cleared out so it's
really just us the
main group still
here." Camille adds
looking over at me
for permission.

"Fine but what
are we trying to do?
Summon Vincent's
birthday ghost?" I
joke because that's
what we did last
year on his birthday.

"Let's play truth or
dare because why
not." Sophia
suggests like this
is some 13 year
olds sleep over.

We play a couple
of rounds before
I'm finally chosen.

"Truth or dare?"
Sophie asks me.

"Dare." I smirk,
Sophia never
had good dares.

"I dare you to text
your most recent
person on
imessage your
most recent photo."
She states.

Chris happens to
be my most recent
text message so I
send him a random
photo I took during
the party.

"Camille truth or
dare?" I ask
continuing the
game.

"Truth." She
answers with an
unsure shrug.

"I'm always bad
at coming up with
stuff but what's
your fetish?" I
question.

Cam playfully
glares at me before
answering, "You
already know the
answer dumb hoe,
but I like hands."

"So that's why you
have a folder full
of hands." Vincent
chuckles.

"Okay Vincent since
you said that I guess
it's your turn. Truth
or dare?" Cam
asks with a slightly
annoyed tone.

"TruTh." He says
in a mimicking voice.

"Did you ever have
a crush on Ryann?"
Cam questions like
she already knows
the answer.

The room goes
silent and starts
to feel a little
uncomfortable.

"Oh my god he
fucking did."
Sophia states
shaking her head
in disbelief.

"Soph you're
overreacting it's
not like I like her
right now."
