I'm finally out of inpatient, my friends and family who knew are taking me out for food. It'll be nice to have some real food for once.
Charli races over to me and gives me a big ass hug like we haven't seen each other in months or some.
"What a simp." Vince jokes about Charli as Camille and him stand there watching us hug.
Of course I couldn't invite Soph because of Vince and Camille, but I invited her to hangout tomorrow.
Before I had gone I told Char that I'd be willing to give our relationship another try, let's hope I made the right decision.
"So you guys are for real getting back together?" Camille asks curiously.
"Yeah I think so." I answer kind of feeling uneasy since I've been single for a minute.
"This better be the last time." My dad chuckles jokingly and everyone looks at him surprised.
A man leads us to a booth where we sit and continue our conversation.
"Did dad tell you he started dating?" Riley asks from across the table.
I nod, my dad filled me in on all the news while in the car. Not him lowkey turning into a teen girl with all the gossip he knows.
"Where is Dixie and Noah neck?" I ask Charli. Dix and Noah are supposed to come, I mean they said they would.
"They probably out fucking somewhere." Vince jokes with a chuckle rolling his eyes.
"Ew stop that's my sister you're talking about." Charli cringes shaking her head.
"Dude my dad is here, no need to be gross." I state shaking my head as well.
We order our food and talk some more. None of us expecting Dixie and Noah to show up anymore, but they do.
"Hey sorry we are late, we didn't want to come." Dixie jokes as they sit down at the two empty seats.
"I should've just dropped you off." My dad chuckles quietly, probably feeling kind of awkward being stuck with a bunch of teens.
"Y'all want to go on a vacation in a few weeks? Like to the Bahamas or some?" Charli asks the group.
"I'm down, I don't think I've gone there before." I chuckle with a shrug.
We continue talking about the possible trip plans while eating our food. It's nice getting to see my friends again, it was weird not seeing them.
"So should we do a secret Santa since Christmas is in a few weeks?" I suggest, "it would be fun, and people that don't know each other that well can get closer."
"Wait that would be cool and one of us could make it into a YouTube video or something like that."
Sometimes I wish I wasn't an influencer but then I think about all the friends, and fans I wouldn't have. I also wouldn't have started dating Charli, she wouldn't even know I exist. I'm lucky.
