The two stay like that until Ivy has to get up to go to the bathroom again. Sean relinquishes his hold on the younger and already misses the warmth from his body heat. Instead of staying there, though, he's right on the Wife's heels so he can hold his hair back from her face and rub her back soothingly. When she's finished, they exit the bathroom, following the smell of food to the kitchen.
"Lu Jie... I smell your dishes.. Can i have one ??"
"Hi, Ivy." Lu Jie coos as she hugs the pregnant girl close and rubs her hair just the way she likes it. makes a soft purring noise in the back of her throat.
"How are you feeling?"
"A lot of things." She huffs out a soft laugh, and Lu jie chuckles along with her.
"Whatever you cooked smells really good." The two girls pull apart, and Sean leads Ivy to the table.
"I made simple lotus soup with rice and chicken. I thought that would be easier on your stomach."
"Thank you, Jiejie..." Ivy's lower lip quivers. "That's so sweet of you."
"Of course, Ivy Meimei.. I don't want you to be uncomfortable." The eldest smiles warmly.
"Now eat up. You're eating for three or four now."
"Yeah. I guess I am." Ivy rubs her flat stomach gently, looking down in awe. Then her head shoots up in realization.
"I'm going to be so big, oh my God!" The whole table, including Ivy, erupts in laughter as they begin eating.
Dinner goes by relatively smoothly. Zhou Cheng, Lu jie and Ivy are spending their nightly 'Besshy Night" together, which entails talking about motherhood, what they do to keep their body enticing and constant for their Husbands.
This time, Ivy is the center of the conversation. The Sister in laws are abuzz about baby names, baby clothes, baby appointments, vitamins, breast feeding, cravings, self-consciousness, maternity clothes, nurseries, labor, feeding babies and how much love Ivy has for Sean.
Needless to say, the conversation continues long into the night, and they go through several mugs of tea before Ivy finds his way to their Bedroom. Her Husband had stayed up to make sure they were okay, sacrificing his sleep to watch out for his Pregnant Wife.
"I feel them inside my tummy.. Laogong.. Im so excited to our baby.. "
"Me too Darling..."
"Sean.. What do you want a girl or a boy??"
"I don't care about the gender.. I love our baby no matter what gender.. But i wish it was a twin... "
"Ahh..Laogong.. Me too... I want to fill this house a cute stuff toys. A Bunny flushies and a blue and pink crib.. I want to see our baby.. "
