A Week Ago..
Sean and Ivy busy flowering their plants. Sean kissed his Wife on the forehead.. He worried when he saw his Wife with a pale aura.
Today, they were planning to visit a local restaurant and eat new dishes again, though, their plans were ruined by Ivy's unexpected morning sickness.
''Sorry, Sean-i don't know what's wrong with me, but i feel so horrible-'' Ivy apologized to her husband, still inside his bed, not being in the mood to get up. Sean just shrugged, ''It's okay. We've been everywhere around Chongqing.. anyway, we could use some rest, don't you think?'' Of course, Sean didn't mind. Though he was a bit worried.
Why was Ivy suddenly feeling sick?
''Do you think it was the seafood we had last night? I even tried to cook for you last night, you know, that one local dish-'' Sean continued, wondering if Ivy had a bad stomach due to the seafood they ate the previous night, ''Mmm, maybe? Though..i don't think so.'' Ivy had a bad feeling about this. He was so sure it was more than just a simple cold.
''Ah-whatever. We'll just stay inside today, okay? We can just watch something on TV and then watch the stars at night, what do you say, My Wifey?'' Sean suggested to his Wife and he just nodded happily,
''Yes! The stars are always so pretty to watch~especially when i'm with you~'' Ivy said, making Sean laugh fondly at her
''Okay, we will do that then!''
Sean and Ivy ended up watching TV for a few hours, all cuddled up on the couch together. Then, Sean realized that Ivy had fallen asleep on his shoulder again. Ivy looked like a little baby, sleeping on his shoulder cutely. Sean couldn't help but smile admiring his very beautiful wife. ''Darling, why are you so sleepy? I'm sure you slept for 10 hours yesterday-'' Sean said to himself, still admiring His Wife sleeping.
And he was right. Ivy did sleep for around 10 hours last night. Yet, she was sleeping again.
One hour later, Ivy finally woke up, feeling as dazed as ever.
''Mm, Sean Xiao... Honey what's going on? What are we watching?'' Ivy looked at the TV screen and Sean turned the TV off.
''Nonsense, i was waiting for you to wake up, Darling ah...how long are you planning to sleep today? It felt so lonely without you..''
Sean pouted cute as he complained to Ivy .. Then Ivy just giggled,
''Laogong~i'm pretty hungry~''
''Oh? Didn't you say you felt sick, silly? Now you're suddenly hungry?'' Sean was surprised by Ivy's odd request. Was he really sick?
''I'll make you some soup, that'll be good for your stomach. Okay?'' Sean got up, heading to the kitchen already.
''Please do~''
''Here's your lotus soup, Darling... Let me feed you~'' Sean brought the soup close to Ivy now holding a spoon,
''Laogong ...you know i can feed myself, i'm not that helpless-''
Ivy protested, but Sean completely ignored her,
''Open your cute little mouth and say 'ahh' for me, Ivy Wang??!!! '' Sean requested from his Wife making him blush slightly. What an embarrassing request.
''A-ah.. Im Mrs. Xiao Remember?-'' Ivy said hesitantly, and opened her mouth. Sean enjoyed feeding his Stubborn Wife like this. He often enjoyed babying Ivy Wang- Xiao After Sean finished spoon feeding Ivy, her stomach was full. But she was definitely craving for something sweet.
''Laogong~do you think we have some ice-cream left in the freezer?''
''Oh, geez. What kind of sick person wants to eat ice-cream? Ivy Wang..., are you just messing with me because you're too bored to go out?''
Sean pout and whined, but he headed to the kitchen to grab ice-cream for Ivy anyway.
''Here you go. Don't eat too much, though.'' -Sean handed the ice-cream to Ivy and he started eating it happily. She looked like a little kid on Christmas day. Was he this happy to eat some ice-cream?
''Mm, ice-cream is so delicious~'' Ivy said, still eating the ice-cream happily. Sean just smiled, watching her fondly.
He knew Ivy would regret this in a few hours. He could picture Ivy in the toilet vomiting, in a few hours from now.
''Want to go outside? The stars are out already, Ivy.'' Sean said, pointing out of the window. Ivy could also see the stars from outside.
''Y-es, let's go-''
''Wait-you go outside, i'm going to bring us a blanket so you won't get a cold. You're already sick-'' Sean announced to Ivy as he headed to their bedroom and grabbed one of their blankets. He chose the one Ivy liked the most. It was a red fluffy Rabbit designed blanket Ivy often snuggled with.
''Here we are, come closer, My Darling"' Sean brought out the blanket, telling Ivy to scoot a bit closer. He did enjoy cuddling with his precious Stubborn Beautiful Wife.
''Mm, A-Sean's always so warm~''
Ivy mumbled as he cuddled next to Sean nuzzling her face to his broad chest,
''Yeah, does it feel warm, Ivy? You always feel so warm and soft, too.''
Sean said, making Ivy smile shyly,
''B-but look at the stars! Aren't they so beautiful? So beautiful..'' Ivy stared at the sky, in awe.
Sean did the same as he started to pet Ivy's soft long hair.
''Ivy, why do you sound so emotional right n-wait, are you crying?''
Sean noticed Ivy was tearing up, wiping some tears off her cheek,
''Dunno, Ivy Xiao just feels a little emotional, you know..i don't know why though-oh god-i just feel like crying!'' Ivy said, and burst into tears again, Sean stood in silence, seeing his wife have a breakdown. This was the first time Ivy had ever done such a thing in front of him.
''It's okay, Darling. I don't know why you're crying, but please calm down. Everything is okay. We're happy together and i love you very much, why suddenly cry? Are they tears of happiness? Are you happy?''
Sean said to Ivy, making her sob even more.
''S-Laogong..., it's just that i-i love you so much, i love you!'' Ivy replied making Sean's eyes widen a little.
''I'm so happy, that's why i'm crying~ Ivy Xiao is so happy because of you!''
''Silly..'' Sean started to ruffle with Ivy's long hair again,
''You made me worry there, for a second. I love you too, so much. My Beautiful Wife.. '' He continued playing with her hair gently, until Ivy had fallen asleep again. Her eyes were puffy from crying too much, but she still looked pretty to Sean, Ivy Wang-Xiao would always be pretty in Sean's eyes.
''Let's get you inside, Ivy Xiao..'
Sean picked up Ivy in bridal style, placing her on their shared bed gently. He hoped he didn't wake her up.
He covered himself and Ivy with the blanket, and cuddled his wife again.
''Good night, Darling"' Sean whispered close to Ivy's ear as he gave her a gentle kiss on the forehead. They did have a strange day today.
