High School Romance AU

Okay so I started school and it's been just crazy so the updates might take a little longer
Okay so Ban is a high school student and he falls in love with his best friend
(In this one Ban's sister is still alive and so is Selion (if that's how you spell his name) and so it Zhivago. And Selion is older than Ban (in his human form)
This will also probably be two parts but I just loved the idea of this

No ones POV
"Where is Ban?" Selion said with an annoyed voice at the sight of his brother's absence. "Be patient Selion, you know Ban sleeps like a bear in hibernation." Kilia said giggling. "You two, where's your brother?" Zhivago said coming into the room. "Sleeping" the two siblings said in unison. "Well go wake him up! We're going to be late for your first day!" He said getting a little annoyed. "Calm down we still got a few hours." Selion said going up the stairs to his younger brothers bedroom. He kicked open the door to a sleeping, spread out Ban laying in his bed. Selion rolled his eyes as he tried to wake him up. "Ban, if you don't get up we'll be late." He said almost yelling. "Mmm but I don't want to." The younger brother said sleepily. Selion pulled the covers pulling Ban off his bed. "Still not getting up." The blue/silver haired boy said to his brother. Then Selion got an idea. He raced down stairs and read the student name list. Sure enough he was on there. Selion went back upstairs and said to Ban I'm a whisper "You know a certain blonde will be in a few of your classes." As soon as he said that Ban's eyes shot open and he raced for his dresser and pulled a black Twenty One Pilots tank top that was the album to Level of Concern (I had to), dark red shorts, and red and black converse that went up to his ankles. He grabbed his guitar and backpack and raced out of his room. "Knew it would work." Selion said as he raced after Ban.
Ban's POV
'God I can't believe Selion didn't tell me that he was in my classes!' I thought as I raced to get all my stuff together. Zhivago has to grab the back of my backpack to stop me from speeding through the house. "Calm down. Just a minute ago you didn't want to get out of bed and now you're in a big time rush. What's up?" I had to stop and take a breath. "IjustrealizedthatmychildhoodcrushisinmyclassesandIneedtogobecauseIwanttogetaseatbyhim!" I said as fast as I could trying to get away from his grip. "Oh the little blond kid? When are you going to talk to him?" I took another breath and said "All good things happen in time." Everyone groaned. "Why can't you just tell him?" Kilia said at me. I rolled my eyes and said back "Are you going to tell Howzer how you feel?" I said in an annoyed voice. "I-well- kinda- I just- FINE I SEE YOUR POINT!" Kilia said. Me and Selion chuckled a little at this. "Okay you three go to school." Zhivago said pushing us out the door. I only had enough time to grab my skateboard and as I was about to grab my guitar but Zhivago stopped me. "You don't need an electric guitar for your first day." He said pulling it away. "Well it's technically only electric when you plug it into a......fine you win." I said letting it go. "I'll see you later baby." I said as Zhivago pushed me out the door.
As we walked to school we talked and told jokes. "Wait wait wait. What's your guitar's name again?" Selion asked. "First of all it's a girl. Second her name is Marina because she's that beautiful dark ocean blue color." I said in a daydream type voice. "And as she is a member of our family I would like you to address her as such! She's my baby and she means the world to me!" I said to them. They were basically dying of laughter.
——-Time Skip——-
We arrived at school and that's when I saw him.

Meliodas.

God his so amazing at everything and also adorable and cute and and and...
Well never mind that.
We've been best friends for so long but I've never had the guts to tell him how I feel. I stared at him and felt a blush form. I bet it looked like I was a person from a romance novel. Meliodas was on the quiet side and I was basically his only friend besides King, Diane, Elizabeth, and Gilthunder. I on the other hand was a very loud and very open person. I wasn't really popular but I was up there. That's why people were kind of weirded out when I made friends with Meliodas.
Me, Selion, and Kilia were standing around waiting for school to start. Finally they opened the doors and let us in. I was walking to my locker when I felt someone touch my shoulder. I turned to look and it was a current short blonde with emerald green eyes. "Hey Meliodas!" I said to him. "Hey Ban! How are things?" He asked. "Good good. Well as good as things can be I guess ha." I said back to him. He nodded with a smile until he stopped for a second. He looked around us then at my body. I could feel myself blush from his eyes scanning my whole body. 'What the hell is he doing?!' I thought. "That's weird." I heard me say to himself. "What is it?" I asked still blushing a little. "You don't have your guitar with you." He said jokingly. "Oh yeah. My dad made me leave it at home." He giggled a little. "Well I understand why. Oh hey! Can I ask for your help?" He questioned looking at me as we reached our lockers. "Yeah, what's up?" We got out the books we needed and started to walk to class. "Well since we share every class together except one, I was thinking we could work on projects and stuff together." My face lit up. "Yeah! That would be awesome!" I said enthusiastically. "Really? Wow. I mean cool. I also need help with the animal anatomy project. Have you finished yet?" I thought for a second. "Oh shit. It's due in two days right?" "Yep." he said back. "Well then how about we talk about it after classes. We can work in the library. I started the out line but never got around to the actual anatomy part." I said as we reached our class. "That would be awesome!" We both laughed a little as we took our seats and started class.
——Time Skip (after school)——
After my last class ended I made my way over to the library. Me and Mel don't have our last class together so I thought I would get over there and get stuff set up. I got out my colored pencils, regular pencils, laptop, my homework from today, and my headphones just in case. I waited a while until I heard my voice. "Hey Ban!" Meliodas said sitting next to me. "Hey Mel!" I swear for a second he blushed at the nickname I gave him. "Ready to start?" "Yeah!" He said excitedly. "So I was thinking we would start with Mrs. Merlin's homework, then Mr. Hendrickson, Mr. Draphus, Mr. Helbram, and so forth." I explained. "Great! Then finally the animal anatomy for Mrs. Merlin's class." He said. "Precisely." I said back.
For most of the time we worked in silence, only asking each other questions if we had any. I put on my headphones and started listening to music on my phone as I worked. I still had my Level of Concern tank on so I played that. I forgot how catchy the song actually was. I mouthed some of the words to it as it played (song at top of you want). I couldn't help but feel a pair of eyes on me. I didn't want to turn my head though. I eventually realized it was Meliodas. I blushed a little. 'Why is he staring at me? Am I doing something stupid? Is he amused? What is up with him?!'
After a while of pondering these questions I finished my homework and so did Mel. We then got to work right away on the animal anatomy. "So what animal did you pick?" I asked him. "Me? Oh a tyrant dragon. What about you?" I pulled out my paper and showed him. "A red fox." I said. He did say anything. He was just staring at my paper with amazed eyes. Then finally he spoke. "H-how?!" I was confused. "Way do you mean how?" He looked directly into my eyes. "This is the most detailed sketch I have ever seen! It's amazing! I wish I had your skills for this." He said. I was honestly shocked. As he kept ranting about it I said softly "You think I'm really that good?" I looked him in the eyes. "Well yeah!" He said as he looked at mine. We both just stared at each other, both blushing intensely. We both got closer, and closer, and closer....

And I just pulled away.

I could have kissed my childhood crush.
But I pulled away.
I'm such a fucking idiot.

I pulled away and blushed like crazy as I finished up my fox. I sure Meliodas was confused as hell but I didn't even want to look at him. "Hey Ban? I'm sorry." I looked over at him. Not only was his blushing if not more then me, he was on the verge of crying too. "What? No no no don't be sorry for anything! It was my fault. It's fine okay?" He looked up at me with tears in his eyes. It broke my heart to see him like that. I pulled him close to me and hugged him. "Hey it's okay, alright?" He silently cried into my chest as I traced circles into his back to help calm him down.
After a while of us hugging he calmed down and pulled away. He sniffed and said "I'm sorry." I looked at him and said back "You know you say sorry to much." He looked at me trying not to say it. "Don't you dare say it." I said teasingly. "Haha but I really want to!" We both laughed. "Haha hey! Do you want to come over to my house? Also I could really use some help with my tyrant dragon anatomy. I could use some tips." My face lit up until it fell again. "I would love to but I would have to call my dad. Oh give me a sec." I picked up my phone and it started ringing. "Hello?" I could hear Zhivago's voice. "Hey! Can I go over to Meliodas's house? And in advance if I end up spending the night?" There was a pause for a second. "I don't see why not. Just make sure his parents are okay with it." "What are you talking about? They love me!" I said earring a chuckle. "Okay then. Just text me when you want me to pick you up." He said. "Okay, bye!" "Bye." Then I ended the call. "Soooo what did he say?" Mel asked scooting closet to me. "He said yes." I answered. "YES!!" He said as we got our stuff together. I'm glad I packed an extra shirt and stuff for occasions just like this.
After we got our stuff together we walked out. As we walked we talked and told some jokes. It felt like we got to his house really quick but in reality it was probably like 25-30 minutes.
When we got there Meliodas unlocked the front door and we steeped inside. "What is up my little bro!" His older brother Estarossa (just for the sake of the one shot I'm making Estarossa older then Meliodas but Zeldris is a year younger then Meliodas) said as he walked down the stairs. "Oh! And you brought your little boyfriend too!" I laughed a little at the comment but Meliodas blushed a lot. "HE'S NOT MY BOYFRIEND!!" He yelled at his older brother. "Not yet!" Their younger brother Zeldris yelled from the other room. "Hey Ban. When you two get married, can I be one of your groomsmen?" Estarossa asked. "I don't see why not. Also just be tween you and me, I'm going to wear the tux and he's going to wear the dress." I said in a whisper pointing to Meliodas. "I heard that." Mel said looking at us. "Well it's true!" He just rolled his eyes at me. "Can we just go to my room please?" I nodded and grabbed my bag.
This is going to be an interesting night....
