"Saihara-kun~" Kokichi's voice rang. "Let's play a game."
"What kind of game do you have in mind?" Shuichi asked nervously.
"Don't be nervous silly." Kokichi sang. "It's a simple game."
"Let's hear it." Shuichi said.
"Let's play two truths and a lie!" Kokichi exclaimed.
"Two truths and a lie? With you?" Shuichi asked skeptically.
"Excactly!" Kokichi shouted. "Since I'm such a good liar this should be fun~"
"Whatever... Let's just get this over with." Shuichi sighed. Kokichi chuckled.
"Ok, you can go first. You tell me three statements, two are true and one is a lie, and I have to guess the lie!" Kokichi smiled.
"Alright.." Shuichi said thinking. "Here we go, One time I helped find my classmate's pet alligator, my birthday is August 12th, and my parents are famous actors."
"You've got to make it harder than THAT Saihara-kun." Kokichi laughed. "The lie is the second statement. Your birthday is September 7th."
"Correct." Shuichi nodded.
"Now it's my turn~" Kokichi sang. "Let's see if you can figure this out Mr. Ultimate Detective..."
Kokichi cleared his throat. "1. I hate orange Panta. 2. My blood type is A. 3. I love you."
Shuichi paused. He knew Kokichi's blood type was in fact A, but the other two statements were throwing him off. Kokichi had always joked about being in love with him, but Shuichi was never sure if he was telling the truth or not. Regarding the other statement. Shuichi knew Kokichi loved grape Panta, but he never mentioned orange Panta...
"You... love me." Shuichi said. "That's the lie."
"Wrong!" Kokichi said imitating a buzzer. "The first one is the lie, I like orange Panta, but not as much as grape."
"So." Shuichi said. "You... really love me?"
"Of course silly!" Kokichi laughed. "I tell you that allllll the time!"
"I thought you were lying." Shuichi admitted.
"Nope! I may be a liar, but I would never lie about that !" Kokichi smiled. Shuichi pulled his detective's hat over his face in an attempt to hide his blush.
"I love you Saihara-kun." Kokichi said moving Shuichi's hat out of his face. "And that's the truth."
